Vampires..

Goodnight my friends.. See you in your dreams! (6)

It all started with Buffy..

So this is the show/series that started it all and gave the whole world the idea on writing stuffs about vampires while making it cool, sexy, savvy and sassy..

This is Buffy the "vampire slayer" with her crew. The rest of the Buffy people. Her friend which turned out to be a witch and has powers of this and that and can call forces of nature to help her and stuff.. hehe..

This is the one that should be blamed! Because I keep on spending money on Vamp books that I think is sooooo cool I have to get my hands on them or I'll die! lol.. and they all compare it to the Buffy series! Like Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter Series, the comments that are there are connected to Buffy! Like it's Buffy and Sex in the City Combined made sexier.. or whatever! Sigh..

But anyway, I still owe the people who have started Buffy, because of them, I have a lot of books to collect and to read. Since I love reading so much I need to have a new book everyday. :( I'm kinda a fast reader.. :).

HAve a nice day everyone! and I highly recommend that you guys read vamp books.. They're all modern now. And everything is really cool!

John Arnold, U.S.

Age 34

$1.5 billion, self-made

Raised by a lawyer dad and accountant mom, Arnold whizzed through Vanderbilt University in three years. He currently runs the Centaurus Energy hedge fund.

Shivinder Singh, India

Age: 32

$2.5 billion, inherited

Singh and his older brother Malvinder, 35, both Duke University grads, inherited control of generic drug maker Ranbaxy Laboratories. What we know: Malvinder heads Ranbaxy, while Shivinder runs hospital chain Fortis Healthcare, which went public in 2007.

Kostyantin Zhevago, Ukraine

Age 34

$3.4 billion, self-made

Ukraine's youngest billionaire started out as finance director of bank Finance & Credit in 1992. He eventually gained a majority stake in its holding company, Finance & Credit Group. Bill Gates' Fortune Over The Years

1986

Net worth: $315 million

In March, Microsoft--the company Gates co-founded 11 years earlier--goes public. Gates retains about 45% of the company's stock. On the first day of trading, shares jump $7 above the offering price to $28 a share. Gates appears on Forbes' list of the richest Americans for the first time with a fortune of $315 million.

1987

Net worth: $1.25 billion

Growing excitement about the potential for the software industry catapults Microsoft stock higher. At one point, it's six times the value of the initial public offering price. Gates becomes a billionaire. Despite the wealth, he says he has no desire to retire: "I'm tied to the wheel."

1990

Net worth: $2.5 billion

Microsoft releases Windows 3.0. It's a hit. About 2 million copies are shipped by the end of the year and Microsoft becomes the first personal computer software company with sales to exceed $1 billion annually. At a conference, Gates describes his strategy as putting "Windows everywhere." Shares climb. Gates' fortune doubles from the previous year.

1995

Net worth: $14.8 billion

Bill Gates' fortune rises steadily throughout the early '90s along with Microsoft's stock price. In 1995, the company releases its Windows 95 operating system. Sells more than 1 million copies on its first four days on the market. Another accomplishment for Gates: His book, The Road Ahead, tops bestsellers lists.

1997

Net worth: $39.8 billion

Gates' net worth more than doubles from the previous year. He's now $19 billion richer than America's second-richest person, Warren Buffett. Gates begins to take it easy. He says in a Forbes column he's cutting down on his hours at the office: "Most days I don't work more than 12 hours. On weekends I rarely work more than eight hours."

1999

Net worth: $85 billion

The frenzy for tech stocks pushes Gates' net worth to $85 billion. His one-year increase is more than $25 billion or about $3 million per hour. Tells Forbes he can envision his second-in-command Steve Ballmer taking over in the next decade.

2000

Net worth: $63 billion

At one point in 1999, Gates' net worth briefly topped $100 billion. By 2000, it's down to $63 billion as Gates suffers the first significant decline in his wealth. The popping tech bubble and antitrust trials drag Microsoft stock lower. Substantial donations to his charity also begin to sap his fortune. Gates relinquishes role of chief executive of Microsoft to Ballmer and becomes chairman.

2008

Net worth: $58 billion

For the first time in 13 years, Gates is not the world's richest person. He is passed by investing virtuoso Warren Buffet and Mexican telecom tycoon Carlos Slim Helu. Gates announces he will stop working full-time at Microsoft to dedicate more time to philanthropy.

Home Planetarium

$199

For frustrated urban stargazers, Japanese toy and computer game maker Sega Sammy has come up with a living-room planetarium. Selling at Toys 'R' Us in America since September and available online, the melon-sized Homestar projector has already earned Sega $21 million in Japan, where it went on sale two years ago. Sega claims the machine can throw out over 10,000 points of light, about the same as the number of stars visible to the human eye in a dark sky. While it might not be a match for a moonless starry night on a far-flung tropical beach, it beats the view from the roof of your apartment.

Fritschi Diamir Freeride Plus

$425

Until recently, touring bindings didn't come burly enough to handle daily resort skiing. So skiers that spent as much time in-bounds as they did trekking out needed two sets of boots, bindings and skis. That makes for cumbersome luggage and expensive off-seasons.

The Fritschi Diamir Freeride Plus binding, however, puts a stop to the madness. The Freeride is a binding that can handle the torque of alpine boots cranking through a Teton chute while also offering a free heel so you can jaunt into Jackson Hole's back-country in search of fresh powder.

Atrio Earbuds

$200

Serious music listeners pay $800 for custom-fit plugs like the Ear Monitors from Future Sonics. If you can spend that much on headphones, go ahead, but for a fourth of that price, Atrio Earbuds will make your iPod headphones sound like they're plugged into a transistor radio. They come with a set of silicon and foam sleeves so you can adapt their fit. The idea is to form a tight seal in the ear so that you block out ambient noise and enjoy your music at lower volume levels.

BlackBerry Curve/Apple iPhone

$300 and $400

The Curve may be the best BlackBerry Research in Motion has ever made. Like its predecessors, it's a fantastic e-mail device, and a good phone, too. Slim and sleek, it weighs only 3.9 ounces, with a camera and a media player built in.

Wonderful as the iPhone is, it doesn't handle e-mail as well as the Curve. Its touch-screen keyboard doesn't work as well as a QWERTY keyboard, and its Web browser is painfully slow when not connected to a wi-fi network. Still, the iPhone is a very nice media player and electronic photo album right in your pocket.

How To Shop Green:

Clothing

Government regulations: Items must be made of organic cotton, which is free of chemicals and pesticides. These are noted with a "Made With 100% Organic Cotton" label.

Industry regulations: There is no industry standard.

Environmentalist regulations: Several not-for-profit organizations have set their own standards. Made-by, a Netherlands-based group, tracks the environmental footprint of a garment from the first thread on. Find their research at www.made-by.nl.

Cleaning Products

Government regulations: The EPA's labeling system, Design For The Environment, ensures that the chemicals in DfE-certified products--like Earth Choice's new range of household cleaners--are environmentally preferable, which means the products are created with safer formulas, with lower volatile organic compounds. High levels of these materials can damage soil and groundwater, and emit greenhouse gasses, contributing to global warming.

Industry regulations: There is no industry standard.

Environmentalist regulations: Ecologo, an organization that regulates the sustainability of consumer products throughout North America, lists specific criteria for each type and approved products on www.environmentalchoice.com.

Automobiles

Government regulations: The U.S. Department of Energy lists on its Web site the fuel efficiency of every model car made since 2000. Automobile makers must also adhere to the Corporate Average Fuel Economy, a fuel efficiency measure regulated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Industry regulations: Automobile owners/repairmen/dealerships must not only comply with Corporate Average Fuel Economy, listed on www.nhtsa.dot.gov, they must follow state and local laws as well.

Environmentalist regulations: The not-for-profit National Automotive Environmental Compliance Assistance Center lists information on its Web site to help you to determine whether or not your car complies with current regulations.

Appliances

Government regulations: The Energy Star initiative, an Environmental Protection Agency-run unit, provides manufacturers with energy-efficient guidelines set in conjunction with the Department of Energy. Criteria for each appliance differs and can be found on www.energystar.gov under the Products tab.

Industry regulations: No industry regulations.

Environmentalist regulations: Most environmentalists recommend using the Energy Star label as a guide. Web sites like Treehugger.com also provide insight and tips on purchasing energy-efficient appliances.

Beauty/Personal Hygiene Products

Government regulations: The FDA requires that these products list all ingredients on their packaging.

Industry regulations: There is no industry standard.

Environmentalist regulations: ECOCERT, a France-based control and certification organization, approves organic products across the world, adhering to local laws. Cosmetics certified by ECOCERT include Stella McCartney's CARE. line. You can find a list of criteria and an in-depth explanation of certification on www.ecocert.com.

Furniture

Government regulations: There are no government regulations.

Industry regulations: There is no industry standard, but the nonprofit HauteGREEN, a group that recognizes contemporary sustainable design, provides criteria for green furniture makers. This includes the use of recyclable/reusable/renewable materials, as well as raw materials from fairly traded or low impact sources. Find more information at www.hautegreen.com.

Environmentalist regulations: The International Forest Stewardship Alliance certifies products made from wood by ensuring that those collecting the lumber are making the best use of forest resources, reducing damage and waste, and avoiding overconsumption and overharvesting.

Houses

Government regulations: There is not one federal body regulating green building. However, several local and state municipalities are setting up individual regulations, and most rely on the Department of Energy's Web site for guidance.

Industry regulations: In 2005, The National Association of Home Builders published a list of green building guidelines that include: lot preparation and design, resource efficiency, as well as occupancy comfort and indoor environmental quality. In conjunction with the former, the Sustainable Buildings Industry Council also publishes a set of criteria for home builders.

Environmentalist regulations: Experts suggest using a combination of certifications to build a proper green home--starting with Energy Star and ensuring your wood has been certified by the International Forest Stewardship Alliance.

10 Best Cities For Commuters (USA)

No. 10: Richmond, Va.

Judged against other cities with more than 500,000 workers, Richmond benefits from its position at the hub of multiple interstates (I-95, I-295, I-64) and from well-designed local highways that link them, enabling the metro to handle the traffic of a much larger city. As a result, delays are mild, with the average commuter only spending an extra 20 hours a year on the road.

No. 9: Cincinnati, Ohio

The Queen City's public transportation system services a very small percentage of the population. Those who use it are traveling mostly by bus, within the city, and not to and from the suburbs. Traffic isn't quite fluid, but at 27 hours in annual delays per traveler, it's still better than average for cities of its size. As gas gets more expensive and economic woes in Ohio continue, expect to see more carpooling long before an expansive train system is needed. Right now, only 9% of commuters carpool, one of the lowest rates in the country.

No. 8: Kansas City, Mo.

In the Kansas City metro, only 11% of commuters utilize public transportation or carpools, which is the sixth lowest rate in the country. That's not a problem, however. The roadways in and around the city are so far below capacity that the average traveler only spends 17 hours a year stuck in traffic.

No. 7: Hartford, Conn.

With 47% of commuters enjoying a trip under 20 minutes, Hartford residents have one of easiest commutes in the Northeast. They spend only 19 hours a year in traffic, and only 3.9% of commuters spend more than an hour getting to and from work. The problem? These unlucky few are often going to and from the New York City and Providence, which are long distance hauls.

No. 6: Cleveland, Ohio

Although you might not expect it from a Midwestern city, where cars are relied on to get to work, Cleveland has a pretty good train system, with 50 stops in the metro area, ranking it roughly in the middle of cities nationwide. Driving is easy, too--the average car-bound commuter spends just 13 hours a year delayed by rush-hour traffic.

No. 5: Pittsburgh, Pa.

Ten percent of commuters get to work by some method other than driving, which helps keep congestion to one of the lowest levels in the country. Those who drive face annual delays of only 16 hours. That's the lowest delay per traveler of any city with over a million commuters. Still, some people are driving a long way from the exurbs, with 6.5% of commuters spending an hour or more en route, the highest figure of any city in the top 10 best commutes.

No. 4: Oklahoma City, Okla.

The Sooner State capital has a road system well suited to its small population of commuters (547,255), as 48% of workers get to their jobs in fewer than 20 minutes. As the city grows, however, it may be confronted with the problem of an extremely limited public transit system. Less than 1% of people take public transportation to work, while 2% walk.

No. 3: Milwaukee, Wis.

Commuting to work in downtown Milwaukee is pretty easy. The city is compact enough that 45% of people get to their job in under 20 minutes, with only 3.2% of residents spending an hour or more en route to work. Both figures are significantly better than national averages. Only 15% of residents use an option other than driving alone, but you can't really blame them; the average citizen spends only 19 hours a year in traffic.

No. 2: Salt Lake City, Utah

Jobs are being added to the Salt Lake City area faster than anywhere else in the country. And with jobs comes population growth, so effective management of transportation systems will be something to watch over the next five to 10 years. The good news is that residents are amenable to carpooling, public transit and walking, with 19% of area commuters using one of those strategies, a big part of why the average commuter spends only 27 hours a year in traffic.

No. 1: Buffalo, N.Y.

Local residents say you can drive between any two points in the Buffalo area in 20 minutes, and based on our measures, it seems like a reasonable notion. Half of the workers in the Buffalo metro spend that time or less getting to work, and drivers experience only 10 hours of annual delays, according to the Texas Transportation Institute. Of cities with over 500,000 commuters, fewer people spend an hour or more getting to work in Buffalo than anywhere else in the country.

America's MOst Endangered Food.

Pacific Coast aka Acorn Foodshed

At least 62 foods are threatened or endangered in the Acorn Foodshed, according to Gary Paul Nabhan, editor of Renewing America's Food Traditions. Among them is the California Mission olive, which, green or black, is mild and rich in oil. Thanks to the work of the Mission Olive Preservation, Restoration and Education Project there are currently two retail distributors of California Mission Olive Oil.

Heartland aka Bison Foodshed

Historically, the Bison Foodshed was home to fertile soil, dozens of wild, edible seeds and roots, herds of game and crops such as beans. While conservationists are still concerned about the Hutterite soup bean, which yields a thick, creamy soup base in less than an hour, it is now available in nearly a dozen outlets for purchase in small quantities.

Southern Appalachian Mountains aka Chestnut Foodshed

At least 74 of this region's traditional foods are currently threatened or endangered, including the American chestnuts of Pine Mountain, Ga. It's estimated that as many as 4 billion of the trees may have been wiped out by diseases from Asia that were introduced to eastern forests in the early 1900s. But the recent discovery of a stand of healthy chestnut trees in Pine Mountain, Ga., and the Talladega National Forest are generating optimism that trees may be able to withstand blight and possibly begin to recover.

Southwest aka Chile Pepper Foodshed

Sweet winter melons with juicy flesh, Santo Domingo casaba melons made their way to Mexico, and later New Mexico, in the 1500s, according to Nabhan. While the Santo Domingo Pueblo, an ethnic community near Santa Fe, N.M., has preserved the fruit's seeds, they are endangered by the threat of flooding by reservoirs in agricultural lands and invasive weeds.

Atlantic Seaboard aka Clambake Foodshed

As a result of the ecological restoration of rivers, bays, beaches and coastal waters, many foods native to the Clambake Foodshed are being recovered. Among them are the quahogs of Great South Bay, a large hardshell clam species with a distinctive blue inner shell. The clam of choice for clambakes in the region for years, its yield began to decline in the 1950s due to pollution and damage to its beds caused by metal-toothed dredges.

Mississippi River Watershed aka Cornbread Foodshed

The Nickajack apple is said to have originated where Cherokees lived along Nickajack Creek in Macon County, N.C. A large fruit, it has a crisp white flesh that changes flavor as it ripens, becoming aromatic. It's currently only commercially available in a handful of nurseries in the region.

Chesapeake Bay aka Crabcake Foodshed

The unusually named fish pepper is a two-inch long vegetable that, as it ripens, changes from white with green stripes to bright red. An African-American heirloom, it may have been the product of an experiment or a mutation of a common Serrano pepper. It was traditionally used in shellfish and fish recipes, but as contamination and over-harvesting hurt the Bay's fish and shellfish populations, the fish pepper fell out of favor. Today there are about a dozen suppliers of the chile seeds.

Gulf South aka Gumbo Foodshed

A kin of the habanero chile, the datil chile pepper packs a little less heat and lots of flavor. A key ingredient in a dish called the Minorcan pilau, the chile pepper was cultivated in gardens by Minorcans, who were brought to Florida in the 1700s as indentured laborers. Its inability to store or ship well has kept the pepper restricted to the region, but three seed catalogs currently supply datil seeds to chile lovers across the country.

Northeastern U.S. and Eastern Canada aka Maple Syrup Foodshed

While the sugar maple still grows in six Canadian provinces and 34 U.S. states, there's been a rapid decline of sugar maple populations and maple-syrup production quantities. This is particularly true in the Maple Syrup Foodshed, which includes the Appalachian plateau of northern Pennsylvania and New York, according to Nabhan. Changes in forest soil, drought, overtapping, heavy grazing and heavy farm machinery traffic, as well as global warming, are all to blame.

Upper Midwest aka Moose Foodshed

While moose are not endangered as a species, populations at the southern limits of their range are falling as temperatures rise. Northwestern Minnesota moose can't bear the heat, causing greater die-offs during midsummer heat surges. Those that survive are also often plagued by parasites.

Intermountain West aka Pinyon Foodshed

Drought and a bark beetle infestation knocked back nut production by the Nevada single-leaf pinyon, and killed millions of the trees that once covered mountain slopes in Nevada, Utah and eastern California. Compounding the problem, over the years the nut came to be considered a poor man's food and miners began cutting the trees for fuel. But today, Shoshone harvesters of the Nevada single-leaf pinyon nut are receiving close to fair trade value for nuts sold to wholesalers, and more of their product is entering the U.S. market.

Coastal Alaska, Northern California aka Salmon Foodshed

Although it was once declared the finest eating strawberry in America, the aromatic, juicy Marshall strawberry is incredibly hard to find today. While heavily planted on Bainbridge Island prior to World War II, the Marshall strawberry was hit by crop diseases imported from other countries. Now, thanks to the Bainbridge Island Historical Society's Marshall Strawberry Project, the fruit is being revived.

Great Lakes Surrounding Region aka Wild Rice Foodshed

With a taste comparable to poultry, the American eels of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River were once prized for their high caloric value. But over-harvesting, dams and hydro-turbines hurt their populations, causing fisheries in Lake Ontario and the upper St. Lawrence to close by 2001. Recently, however, the St. Regis Mohawk tribe initiated an effort with the U.S. Geological Survey's Tunison Biological Laboratory in New York to figure out how to revive the American eel in these waters.

New Moon

This is the second book of the twilight series. I love this book! This is the part where everyone goes "EMO" Literally!

Bella is like dying because Edward is gone and she is having a hard time moving on and stuff.. She can hear Edward's voice whenever she gets her self in to trouble and stuff..

I really really like this series! It is so perfect! well not really but I like it anyway. Vamps are really really cool! This is like th 30th Vamp book in my shelf ^_^ And it's better to think of the Vamps as the good guys than having them as the villains. But everything is cool though in total.. ^_^

Edward and Bella is soooooooooooo darn sweet! plus the things Edward told Bella after the "Volturi Incedent" in Rome!!! And I expected the Volturi Brothers to be really dark, but they turned out to be weird people.. I mean weird vamps.. hehe.. Aro is funny.. and I cant help myself but laugh whenever he talk and th laugh poses lol like "ha,ha,ha that was really fascinating" etc..

And I loved the way Alice appreciated the Porshe car. that was sweet. It's really cool! everything about this book is cool! And I can't wait to get my hands on Eclipse and Breaking Dawn! It's not in the local book store yet. And I'm suppose to be very excited! They're killing the excitement! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! I'm really really dying to get my hands in this book!

THIS BOOK IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY ME ^_^

Twilight Again!

I am so starting to get obsessed with this book and movie!!!!! OMG! So, Ill be adding new pictures and snap shots and stuff from around here. Enjoy!

They are sooooooo sweet.. I wish Robert would stare at me like this too.. lol! This is the part where Bella and Edward was starting to get friendly with each other.. hehe.. Correct? Or are they Lovers and promised to stay with each other already?.. hmmm..

In the book, the fight scene was kinda edited. In book 2 (which is new moon) Victoria, James' mate was just annoyed because Edward killed him. But it did not elaborate. It seems that in the movie they elaborated the fighting scene and then saved Bella etc.. etc..

The Cullens..

The Cullens. In alternate mode.. Blonde, brown?.. or whatever do you call that hair color. Why does Carlisle look young and Esme looks like a real mom? This is so unfair! Alice looks cute, Rosalie is beautiful but unlike what was described in the book. lol Sorry Rose.. ^_^

My Scelero..

Photobucket

When will I be with you?
when will you come to me?
I need you.
but you wont listen.
you keep on ignoring me..
and what I am thinking..
I dreamed of the days that we could be together..
the laughter both of us could share..
the smiles.
I want to hug you...
but the wind..
they wont listen..
they wont call you..
come to me..
and you will see..
the beauty..
(and the beast?.. lol)
that is hidden..
under the tree..

An upset Idol?

"LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- It sounds like moms have a "Crush" on David Archuleta.

The "American Idol" runner-up's first single, "Crush," bowed at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 on Thursday -- a spot higher than the debut of "Idol" season seven winner David Cook's "The Time Of My Life" in June -- and in fact, the song was the biggest chart debut in 18 months, according to Billboard.

So who's helping the 17-year-old singer make such a splash?

Are you having doubts where to have yourself fixed? Still having doubts that other surgery or beauty centers won't take care of you properly? Well here's the best one for you. And you won't regret this.

During your consultation at Rodeo Drive Plastic Surgery, your plastic surgeon will examine you and discuss recommendations for implant and incision placement to yield the best results. The procedure is usually done as an outpatient, under general anesthesia administered by a physician anesthesiologist to minimize discomfort during the procedure. Most patients have very little pain following the surgery as well because long-acting local anesthetic is administered as part of the procedure. Most patients return to work about a week after surgery. There may be some bruising for a week or so and some swelling for a few weeks following surgery. So you'll really know that they will take care of you.

Plastic surgery? Beverly Hills plastic surgery can help you with that. They built our offices and surgery center with one goal in mind: superb care for our plastic surgery patients. They are the only plastic surgery center on world-famous Rodeo Drive
. Like our stylish neighbors, they give prime attention to providing outstanding service in all that we do. When you visit them you will also find that they have created a setting of unusual luxury. Our center was designed to be both elegant and soothing. During your visit we will provide you with detailed plastic surgery information.

Rhinoplasty? Their approach to rhinoplasty is unusual. They have a team made up of two surgeons with complementary training and backgrounds who do all our nose surgery together. This interdisciplinary approach provides you the benefit of a broad perspective and skills during your evaluation and treatment, with equal focuses on the cosmetic and functional aspects of your rhinoplasty. Paying attention only to aesthetics can lead to problems with breathing following surgery. Paying attention only to breath flow can compromise aesthetics. Our surgeons work to overcome these problems by using our different perspectives to focus simultaneously on both improving appearance and function. We call our approach The Rodeo Drive Breathe Easy RhinoplastyTM.

Twilight!

So this is my new addiction as of the moment. Just like what I promised just a while ago I will indeed right a lot of things about this one. hehe (If I'm not sleepy enough that is. ) Ok. I like the cover and I like the flow of the story. It is a bit girly in a way. But anyway I love the characters. I am almost obsessed with vampire books. So anything that's got the word vampire in it I will gladly buy that book with open arms! haha! Just like what I did with the Black Dagger Brotherhood series (but I'm kinda disappointed because I still don't have the 6th book :( since it is still not released in the Philippines. I hate living here! books are always delayed! The lady in the bookstore even told me that it might probably arrive at august next year! imagine that! AMPF!) as well as Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter Series.

Ok. I will consentrate in this book further. I love the plot. I love the characters. I love EDWARD. by the way everyone, in this book I am playing Isabella Swan. Bella for short. hehe.. See how obessed I am with ever book and I read and their characters? OMG. I think I will just think of Edward all day long! But not really. I'm a bit sleepy seriously. hehe.. POK in short a vampire and a human inlove. Pretty common yeah just like the rest of the vampire thingies around but I love this because it's got something teen in it. and I love feeling young! of course because I am young. haha!

Ok, so I have here some of the pictures of it. Since it's going to be a movie really soon. Here's Cedric Diggory. He'll be playing Edward. And I'm kinda disappointed because he's not as attractive as he is well, described in the book that is. hehe.. The rest are the Cullens etc.. etc.. wee! The pictures are above of course. And I am so recommending this book to anyone that feels like reading and feeling young but old at the same time. etc.. etc.. etc!! Read it! Here I go again with promoting books, as if the authors paid me to promote them this much. But i'm open to free books! haha.. ^_^ So. I have to end this as of the moment. Wow! I wish I could live on one of these neighborhood! This is really cool and EXPENSIVE!

Star-Studded ZIP Codes

Alpine, N.J.
07620

Properties in Alpine (population 2,100) are noted for being land-rich, which helps draw cramped city-dwellers out of nearby Manhattan. Some who've made the leap? Hip-hop stars such as Sean "Diddy" Combs, Fabolous and Lil' Kim, as well as entertainers such as Chris Rock (left) and Motown legend Stevie Wonder, and former New York Knicks center Patrick Ewing

Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.
92067

Like most high-priced California enclaves, the mansions here are built in a Spanish architectural style on large tracts of land. The A-listers that call Rancho Santa Fe home include Olympic gold medalist Shaun White, San Diego Padres players Trevor Hoffman and Brian Giles, Phoenix Suns general manager and president Steve Kerr and professional golfer Phil Mickelson.

Amagansett, N.Y.
11930

Once a small-town farming and fishing community, Amagansett is now the summertime playground for many of Manhattan's A-listers. Located between East Hampton and Montauk, Amagansett is home to famous celebrity residents such as Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Chris Martin, Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick, and Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld.

TriBeCa, N.Y.
10013

This lower Manhattan neighborhood is defined as the triangle below Canal Street and is filled with spacious, high-ceilinged lofts and new starchitect developments. Robert De Niro unofficially acts as local ambassador, whether promoting the neighborhood's world famous film festival or on behalf of local preservation efforts. Also living in the area are Daily Show news anchor Jon Stewart, R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe and supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

Santa Barbara, Calif.
93108

Located on the Central California Coast, this ZIP code goes by the more famous name of "Montecito." Large estates here are perched above the beach and have views of both the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding mountains. Oprah Winfrey, actors Rob Lowe and Tom Cruise, and actress Katie Holmes all own homes here. Singers Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley (of Sum 41) exchanged wedding vows on a Montecito estate last year.

Ross, Calif.
94957

The small town just north of San Francisco and a short drive from the coast may have lost its title for the most Academy Awards per capita when director Barry Levinson moved away two years ago. But Sean Penn and wife Robin Wright Penn still call Ross home, as does Academy Award winner Gary Rydstrom, the sound designer behind Toy Story and Finding Nemo.

Katonah, N.Y.
10536

A small hamlet within the Westchester County town of Bedford, Katonah is known for its streetscapes boasting Victorian-style homes. Martha Stewart owns a mansion here, where she calls designer Ralph Lauren, author Michael Crichton and investor George Soros neighbors.

Santa Monica, Calif.
90401

Unlike the Hollywood Hills or Beverly Hills, Santa Monica is right on the Pacific Ocean and is home to the famous Hollywood Halfway House, a short- (or long-) term beachfront apartment complex depending on one's fortunes. A wide range of celebs reside in this coastal community, including writer/actor Larry David (left), United Talent Agency chairman Jim Berkus and NBC Universal Entertainment co-chairman Ben Silverman.

Los Angeles
90068

This Hollywood Hills neighborhood has been home to film stars dating to the Silver Screen era, and boasts 1920s-era homes as well as views of downtown L.A. and nearby Runyon Canyon Park. Scarlett Johansson recently bought a home in the Outpost Estates community, joining actors Denzel Washington, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Sharon Stone in this area above the Hollywood Freeway.

New Orleans
70116

Though not on the list of the top 500 most expensive ZIP codes--due in part to the lingering effects of Hurricane Katrina--the French Quarter of New Orleans boasts some of the nation's finest urban townhomes, and a few residents you might have heard of. This April, Nicolas Cage bought a home on Royal Street just a few blocks away from the home Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie own on Governor Nicholls Street.

Beverly Hills, Calif.
90210

No list of celebrity neighborhoods would be complete without a mention of the country's most famous ZIP code. Composed largely of gated communities, the homes here range in style as many were custom designs dating back to the 1950s. Following her 2006 separation from Russell Simmons, Kimora Lee Simmons bought a home next door to Jessica Simpson and just up the road from former Viacom chief Tom Freston. In April, soccer star David Beckham and wife Victoria bought in the area.

Jupiter Island, Fla.
33455

Stars such as Tiger Woods and wife Elin Nordegren and golfers Nick Price and Greg Norman call Jupiter Island home, perhaps because the tiny hamlet affords privacy, and, thanks to numerous private golf courses, plenty of space to practice their swings. Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevik lives across a thin channel and singer Celine Dion also owns a home on this small island north of Miami.

Miami Beach
33139

This ZIP includes the legendary Star Island, a small, exclusive man-made community that features some of the most expensive properties in the country. A name like that doesn't come out of nowhere, and an eclectic group of luminaries make their home on the island: Miami Heat basketball center Shaquille O'Neal, singer Gloria Estefan, hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs and talk-show host Rosie O'Donnell.

Calabasas, Calif.
91302

Calabasas was incorporated as a city in 1991, but it's already become a hotspot for celebrities attracted to its mountain and valley views and hillside estates. Following their 2006 split, Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey moved out of the neighborhood. They will no doubt be missed by fellow Calabasas residents Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, TV host Howie Mandel and onetime crooner Bobby Vinton. The new kid on the block is hard-living rocker Tommy Lee, who bought a neighborhood home in August.

In Depth: America's Recession-Proof Cities

10. Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas

Median home price: +.5%

Unemployment: 4.3% (from 4.5%)

Key growth: Education and health, +5.6%

With unemployment on the decline and home prices holding steady, the Dallas-Fort Worth area seems to be avoiding the worst of the downturn. The region is home to a diverse set of companies, including Exxon Mobil, American Airlines parent company AMR, Southwest Airlines, home builder Centex, Dean Foods, Texas Instruments and Tenet Healthcare

9. Charlotte, N.C.

Median home price: +3.3%

Unemployment: 5.4% (from 4.7%)

Key growth: Professional and business services, +4.7%; leisure and hospitality, +4.2%

Despite a recent rise in unemployment, the economy in Charlotte and the nearby surrounding region of Gastonia and Concord has been strong. Home prices have shown healthy growth, and broad classes of industries like professional and business services, leisure and hospitality, transportation, education, and health are expected to float the local economy this year.

8. Seattle, Wash.

Median home price: +1.2%

Unemployment: 4.3% (from 4.5%)

Key growth: Leisure and hospitality, 4.1%; manufacturing, +2.6%

The region around Puget Sound is home to Microsoft, Amazon.com, Starbucks, Costco, Nordstrom and Washington Mutual. What's more, home prices are only half that in the San Francisco Bay Area, and unemployment in the region is falling. Of the 50 largest metropolitan statistical areas in the U.S., Seattle had the strongest growth in manufacturing in the past year.

7. Houston, Texas

Median home price: +1.1%

Unemployment: 4.2% (from 4.5%)

Key growth: Natural resources, +5.9%; construction, +4.7%

Call it Energy City, USA. Houston's economy has been so robust that it's one of the few cities in the country where manufacturing is growing. The city's future is heavily tied to energy, as the home to ConocoPhillips, Marathon Oil, Plains All American Pipeline, Halliburton and Reliant Energy

6. Salt Lake City, Utah

Median home price: +2.5%

Unemployment: 3.1% (from 2.6%)

Key growth: Education and health services, +5.5%

Though Salt Lake City's unemployment rate is rising, it's still among the lowest of the country's 50 largest cities (Washington, D.C., is second, but declining home prices kept it off our list). The state is still creating jobs, just not as quickly as its labor force is growing. A November 2007 report from the U.S. Conference of Mayors projected that Salt Lake City would be one of the few large cities in the country not to suffer a decline in gross metropolitan product from the mortgage crisis.

5. Raleigh, N.C.

Median home price: +4%

Unemployment: 4.2% (from 3.7%)

Key growth: Professional and business Services, +7.4%; education and health, +6%

Stable home prices and growth across the different sectors of its economy have kept Raleigh strong. In the last 12 months, all industries measured by the U.S. Department of Labor have grown except for the city's small information sector.

4. San Jose, Calif.

Median home price: +11.2%

Unemployment: 5.2% (from 4.7%)

Key growth: Information, +4.5%

Unemployment in the Bay Area is on the rise, and home prices seem impossibly high, but unlike Southern California, things haven't come crashing down in the San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara region. Or at least not yet. Legions of high-salaried workers at Intel, Sun Microsystems, Google, Advanced Micro Devices and the rest of Silicon Valley are keeping the region afloat.

3. Austin, Texas

Median home price: +6.4%

Unemployment: 3.6% (from 3.8%)

Key growth: Natural resources and construction, +5.1%; leisure and hospitality, +5.3%

One of the hippest cities in the country has one of the lowest unemployment rates. The Austin region is home to Dell, and many tech companies from Apple to Sun Microsystems also maintain a significant presence. One difference between "Silicon Hills," as some call Austin's tech sector, and Silicon Valley? In Austin, the median home price is still under $200,000.

2. San Antonio, Texas

Median home price: +7.9%

Unemployment: 4% (from 4.3%)

Key growth: Construction, +6.3%; leisure and hospitality, +4.9%

San Antonio boasts solid employment numbers as well as rising home prices. Its industries are growing, and it can't hurt that the new AT&T was formed when San Antonio-based SBC Communications swallowed the former AT&T Corp. and BellSouth. The home of the Alamo has leisure and hospitality growth in part from its appeal as a tourist destination.

1. Oklahoma City, Okla.

Median home price: +8.2%

Unemployment: 3.5% (from 4.7% in February 2007)

Key growth: Leisure and hospitality, +6%; construction +11.5% from 2007

Did someone say something about a recession? With falling unemployment, one of the strongest housing markets in the country, and strong growth in agriculture, energy and manufacturing, Oklahoma City might not have received the recession memo, and it looks best positioned of the nation's metropolitan areas to ride out the current crisis. Booming valuations of Oklahoma City's largest companies, like Devon Energy and Chesapeake Energy, suggest the energy sector is the right place to be.

10 Worst Cities for Commuters

No.10: San Francisco, Calif.

San Francisco's biggest traffic problems are the result of bottlenecks. Due in large part to the city's geography, traffic gets nipped by bridges which force all traffic to a handful of pressure points, because they're the only ways to get in and out. Between mass transit, subways, street cars, trolleys, ferries, carpooling and walking, 28% of metro residents avoid single-driver commuting, the third best rate in the nation, but the delays of 60 hours a year (the second worst, behind Los Angeles) and the high rate of commuters spending an hour or more en route (10.5%) really slow things down.

No. 9: Los Angeles, Calif.

Los Angeles area traffic is legendary, and drivers have visceral reactions when you mention Interstate 5. The average driver spends 72 hours annually stuck in traffic delays, the worst in the country. But what serves L.A. well is that a surprisingly high percentage of drivers get to their destinations in under 20 minutes (34%), which is only the 13th worst rate in the country. The reason? All those office parks and strip malls dotting the basin make it easy for people to commute between suburbs as opposed to a central downtown location, and that makes commutes shorter in mileage terms.

No. 8: Houston, Texas

Here, 13% of people carpool, the highest such percentage in cities with over 2 million workers, and third among cities with more than 1 million workers. Still, unlike Dallas and Austin, Houston has largely resisted mass transit system development in favor of expanding roadways, highways and interstates to accommodate more cars. It uses a high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) system which drivers can pay to use if their vehicles are carrying less than three people, and the city is expanding its non-HOV toll road system.

No. 7: Washington, D.C.

Because most of the workers in Washington D.C. are commuting from the Virginia or Maryland suburbs, it can take an exceedingly long time to make it downtown. Here, 15% of commuters take over an hour to get to work, the second highest rate in the country. Drivers spend 60 hours a year stuck in traffic, and only 26% of commuters get to work in under 20 minutes-- the worst rate in the country. The only thing saving D.C. from a worse ranking is its efficiency ranking for carpooling, public transportation and walking, the country's second best.

No. 6: Tampa, Fla.

Tampa commuters are victims of urban sprawl. As late as 2005, 25% of area properties were classified as investment properties; this rate was almost double the national average. What does this have to do with commuting? It's a good sign that the city is spread out. While Tampa exhibits a very low population density, commuters are stuck in traffic delays 45 hours a year, and 7% take more than an hour to get to work.

No. 5: Dallas, Texas

Like most Texas cities, Dallas has very little zoning regulation, and has succumbed to sprawl. As the city continues to attract people and jobs, this problem has become compounded. While the DART train system has expanded, it has not done so fast enough to accommodate those living in area exurbs. As a result, Dallas has worse congestion than Houston; fewer people utilize non-single-driver commutes (15% for Dallas, 17% for Houston) and area drivers experience 58 hours of delays annually, compared with Houston's 56 hours.

No. 4: Orlando, Fla.

Like its Southern neighbor Miami, Orlando's commuting ills stem from a public transportation system that doesn't service a high share of the population and a population that's spread out. Here, only 34% of commuters get to their jobs in less than 20 minutes, which is the ninth worst rate in the country. The main advantage it has over Miami is size. Orlando has less than half the workers on area roads, and fewer people are traveling an hour or more to work.

No. 3: Miami, Fla.

The commute in and out of Miami carries with it 50 hours of delays per year, something not helped by a skimpy public transit system that services only 3% of commuters daily. Still, it could be worse. Ten percent of Miami residents carpool, which alleviates some of the congestion. The primary problem, as with most Florida cities, is sprawl, which results in only 31% of commuters making it to their workplace in under 20 minutes, the fourth worst rate in the nation.

No. 2: Detroit, Mich.

Detroit is losing population and has one of the worst commutes in America. Transit design in Motown is, not unexpectedly, tailored to the car, yet traffic patterns aren't smooth. The average Detroit commuter is delayed 54 hours a year, more than residents in California's sprawling "Inland Empire" cities of San Bernardino and Riverside, who log 49 hours of delays; and more than Chicago or Boston, 46 hours each. When you add up all the people that walk, carpool or take pubic transit to work, it's only 11% of the Detroit commuting population; that's the worst of any big city in America.

No. 1: Atlanta, Ga.

Here, in the fastest-growing city in America, more people flood the roadways than the infrastructure can handle. Commuters spend 60 hours a year stuck in traffic, second only to those in Los Angeles. If that weren't bad enough, Atlanta is so spread out that only 29% of drivers get to and from work in less than 20 minutes, the third worst rate in the country, and 13% spend more than an hour getting to work, the fourth worst rate in the country. The local train system doesn't service the entire city, and thus fails to relieve the pressure

And then my "mares" started to call me and go out, or even just hang out in a coffee shop somewhere down the road just so we could have our long anticipated reunion. And I think the rest of night till dawn will be ok since I'm just going to read the new vampiric thingy that I bought. And I think that it will be A OK anyway.. ^_^

OK. So the KADAYAWAN festival celebration is in the air already. There are a lot of events going out and about. People are enjoying each and every little things that are happening (char). There are a lot of bargains(which I personally enjoy.haha!) and a lot more. A lot of stores are now in out of nowhere and even the construction of Robinsons Mall and the AyalaMall are being constructed in a rush just so they could open in the Holidays!I am so excited! Davao City is really on the peak of it's progress.

So I'm going to share to you guys a breif historyof this festival..

The Kadayawan Festival is an annual festival in the city of Davao in the Philippines. Its name derives from the friendly greeting "Madayaw", from the Dabawenyo word "dayaw", meaning good, valuable, superior or beautiful. The festival is a celebration of life, a thanksgiving for the gifts of nature, the wealth of culture, the bounties of harvest and serenity of living.

Today, Kadayawan has transformed into a festival of festivals, with a number of spin-off festivals in the region. The festival honors Davao’s artistic, cultural and historical heritage, its past personified by the ancestral “lumads”, its people as they celebrate on the streets, and its floral industry as its representatives parade in full regalia in thanksgiving for the blessings granted on the city. A celebration that interfaces the three aspects: tribal; industrial and; arts and entertainment. The festivities are highlighted with floral floats, street-dancing competitions and exhibits that showcases the island's tourism products and services.

The Most Overexposed Celebrities!

1) Paris Hilton

Overexposed Score*: 70%

Life has been anything but simple for one of the world’s most notorious celebutantes. After spending a brief period behind bars last year, the older Hilton sister is back on the Los Angeles nightclub circuit. Up next: The Simple Life star will search for a new best friend on--what else--a reality TV show.

Source: E-Poll Market Research, which provides over 46 appeal rankings for more than 3,000 celebrities

2) Britney Spears

Overexposed Score: 67%

Once covered for her musical prowess, it's Spear’s questionable behavior that gets ink these days. From stints in rehab to stints in the psych ward--to say nothing of a drama-filled custody battle--the former Mouseketeer proves prime tabloid fodder.

3) Lindsay Lohan

Overexposed Score: 61%

Thanks to rehab stints and her hard-partying ways, the starlet's private life is anything but; instead, her every move has been splashed across the tabloids, raising speculation on topics ranging from her drinking habit to her relationship status. Most recently, it was a nude photo spread that grabbed the struggling film star big press.

4) Pamela Anderson (Tie)

Overexposed Score: 51%

The former Playboy Playmate turned Baywatch babe continues to grab headlines for both her high-profile marriages (and divorces) and her provocative ways. Her most recent--and short-lived--husband: Rick Salomon, better known as Paris Hilton's sex tape partner.

4) Nicole Richie (Tie)

Overexposed Score: 51%

Richie is no stranger to the spotlight. In recent years, The Simple Life star garnered press for everything from her shrinking waistline to her best-friend feud to her drunk-driving arrest. More recently, the former bad girl scored positive press as new mom to Harlow Winter.

6) Mary-Kate Olsen

Overexposed Score: 44%

The former Full House twin scored plenty of press when romantic ties to Heath Ledger surfaced after his death. But it hardly stops there for the pint-size starlet. Everything from a shrinking waistline to a role in Weeds to a growing fashion empire has provided tabloid fodder.

7) Kim Kardashian

Overexposed Score: 43%

As step-daughter to former Olympian Bruce Jenner and girlfriend to NFL star Reggie Bush, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is no stranger to the flashbulbs. And if she keeps up her high-profile social life, sex tapes and reality television career, the provocative celebutante will likely remain in them.

8) Tom Cruise (Tie)

Overexposed Score: 39%

These days, the top-tier Hollywood actor tends to star in more headlines than movies, thanks to his high-profile marriage, controversial religion and tabloid-friendly daughter. While he's kept his couch-jumping antics to a minimum in recent months, a bizarre pro-Scientology video recently surfaced on the Web.

8) Heidi Montag (Tie)

Overexposed Score: 39%

Thanks to MTV's The Hills, a new set of tabloid queens have been born--and none are better suited for the gossip-worthy role than best friend turned best enemy Heidi Montag. Between her friendship feuds and rollercoaster relationship with bad boy Spencer Pratt, the budding fashionista has little trouble drumming up press.

8) Donald Trump (Tie)

Overexposed Score: 39%

Hardly camera shy, the New York real estate mogul turned TV personality has been grabbing headlines for years. Though the public sparring with former View host Rosie O’Donnell has died down, Trump's larger than life personality remains center stage. And it's much the same for his name, which is splashed across everything from books to cocktails to neckties.

11) Michael Jackson (Tie)

Overexposed Score: 38%

Michael Jackson the musical sensation seems a thing of the past. These days, the once king of pop gets more attention for his bizarre behavior. Whether it's his veiled children, his Neverland ranch or the reunion tour rumors, the mysterious musician has little trouble generating buzz.

11) Spencer Pratt (Tie)

Overexposed Score: 38%

Pratt plays the resident bad boy on MTV's The Hills, where his manipulative antics and high-profile feuds keep gossip mongers yearning for more. Next up, the controversial beau of Heidi Montag will pen an advice column for Radar magazine.

13) Ashley Olsen

Overexposed Score: 37 %

When it comes to garnering press, the Full House star turned budding fashionista has had little trouble. Between her gossip-worthy social life and much-covered style interests, the shutterbugs are never far away. Up next: She'll co-author a book with her similarly pint-sized twin.

14) Jessica Simpson

Overexposed Score: 36%

Having her marriage (and divorce) to former boy-bander Nick Lachey play out in the public eye, Simpson has kept her current relationship with Dallas Cowboy quarterback Tony Romo on the down low. But the shutterbugs are no less interested, and the singer-turned-actress remains a tabloid queen.

15) Jamie Lynn Spears

Overexposed Score: 33%

The Zoey 101 actress and younger Spears sister catapulted to tabloid fame when pregnancy rumors were confirmed late last year. At just 16, the Nickelodeon star's pregnancy became dinner table discussion for families across the country. In recent months, the starlet has attempted to stay out of the spotlight, focused instead on her education at home in Louisiana.

* At least they're over exposed. They wont find a hard time having themselves published from time to time. .^_^

The World's 15 Top-Earning Models!

1. Gisele Bundchen

$35 Million

The 27-year-old continues to bag new contracts, noticeably with Pantene and a cosmetics giant yet to be named. Her face graces ads for Disney, Nivea, Vogue eyewear and Aquascutum, the U.K.-based luxury line. Her line of Grendene sandals, Ipanema by Gisele, banks her about $6 million a year. And her romance with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady keeps her in the tabloids--she even escaped being blamed for the Patriots' loss to the Giants.

2. Heidi Klum

$14 Million

The second highest-paid model in the world is more of a media and retail mogul, with hit shows in two countries and lines of jewelry, jeans and skincare.

The 34-year-old model and mother of three (hubby is singer Seal) has renewed her Victoria's Secret contract, heads up the hit Bravo (soon to be Lifetime) reality fashion show Project Runway and Germany's version of America's Next Top Model. She designs three lines of Mouawad jewelry and a line of Jordache jeans. Then there's new deals with Diet Coke, McDonald's, Volkswagen and Fontanis water. She's also coming out with a skincare line, In An Instant, to be marketed by powerhouse Guthy-Renker.

3. Kate Moss

$7.5 Million

The überwaif lost some important contracts last year, but her fashion line is an international hit.

The 34-year-old ended campaigns with Burberry, Stella McCartney, Dior and Versace. But her retail line with British retailer Topshop, carried in 29 countries, keeps her bank account from starving. Other clients include Donna Karan, Longchamp, Agent Provocateur, Yves Saint Laurent, Roberto Cavalli and Rimmel.

4. Adriana Lima

$7 Million

The Brazilian beauty remains hugely popular on the Web and in her Victoria's Secret commercials.

The blue-eyed beauty, 27, lost her Italian phone company Telecom Italia contract, but holds on to bread-and-butter clients Victoria's Secret and Maybelline, for which she just renegotiated a multiyear deal. She also modeled for Mexico City-based department store giant Liverpool and graced the April cover of GQ magazine, her second for the men's mag, and drew a record number of hits to its Web site. Her sexy Valentine's Day Victoria's Secret Superbowl ad was a sensation.

5. Doutzen Kroes

$6 Million

This honey from Holland, 23, makes the longest leap up the list this year thanks to her contracts with Calvin Klein, L'Oréal and Victoria's Secret.

The Dutch model catwalks into the top five, thanks to being a triple contract threat: She reps fragrance and fashion with Calvin Klein's Eternity and White Label, cosmetics with L'Oréal and lingerie as the newest Victoria's Secret model. And let's not forget diamonds with De Beers.

6. Karolina Kurkova

$5 Million

The Victoria's Secret babe remains one of the lingerie giant's most important--and highest paid--models.

If it seems like this Czech beauty has been around the industry much longer than would it would seem for someone only 23 years old--that is because she hit success young, appearing on Vogue at 16 and bagging her Victoria's Secret contract at 21. This year, she renegotiated her contract with the lingerie giant, as well as campaigned for Dell and Mexico City-based department store giant Liverpool.

7. Natalia Vodianova

$4.8 Million

This ravishing Russian and mother of three, 26, has been a Calvin Klein muse for longer than any other model, including Kate Moss.

7. Natalia Vodianova

$4.8 Million

Vodianova is the exclusive face of Calvin Klein's Euphoria fragrance. She also picked up deals with Paris-based beauty giant Guerlain, Chanel, Versace and Diane Von Furstenberg, and continues to model for David Yurman jewelry.

8. Carolyn Murphy

$4.5 Million

The face of Estée Lauder has no trouble bagging other clients.

If you've been in a department store any time within the past few years, you've seen this ubiquitous 32-year-old. The porcelain-skinned beauty is not only the main face of cosmetics powerhouse Estée Lauder, but she adorns ads for Anne Klein, Tiffany & Co., Lord & Taylor and Jantzen swimwear.

9. Daria Werbowy

$3.8 Million

This Canadian may not be a household name, but she's a household face.

This striking brunette, 24, is the main visage for beauty behemoth Lancome, but that is far from all. She rotates ad campaigns for Louis Vuitton, Versace, Roberto Cavalli, Chanel, Valentino, H&M, Missoni and David Yurman jewelry.

10. Miranda Kerr

$3.5 Million

The bewitching babe from Down Under is Victoria's Secret's latest star.

Kerr is getting a bit of a late start, breaking through in her delectable Victoria's Secret campaigns at the ripe age of 23. However, expect her to remain in angel wings for awhile--the lingerie giant just renegotiated her contract for multiple years. She's also the face of Australian department store David Jones and the face most likely to be seen around town with actor Orlando Bloom. Not bad for an Aussie who only moved Stateside two years ago.

11. Isabeli Fontana

$3 Million

This gorgeous Revlon model makes her list debut.
Fontana, 24, hasn't been around too much lately, as she took some time off to raise her two children. But she's back with a bang, booking campaigns with lingerie lines Passionata and Chantelle, H&M, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and Viktor & Rolf fragrance

11. Gemma Ward

$3 Million

This doll-faced Australian was in the news this year when she was romantically linked to Heath Ledger shortly before his death in January.

Tabloids aren't what get Ward, 21, on the list. It's her contracts with Japanese cosmetics giant Kose, Valentino, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Karl Lagerfeld, Swarovski and Louis Vuitton.

12. Selita Ebanks

$2.7 Million

This lingerie lovely is the latest Victoria's Secret millionaire.

The 25-year-old was born in the Cayman Islands and lived in New York while contemplating a career in law. Unfortunately for the legal industry, the caramel-skinned beauty went into modeling instead. Last year, she made her first appearance in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. She's been romantically linked to actor Nick Cannon and New York Giants defensive linesman Osi Umenyiora.

13. Valentina Zelyaeva

$2.3 Million

This classically beautiful Muscovite is the exclusive face of Ralph Lauren and two L'Oréal fragrances.

Besides being the face of L'Oréal fragrances Turquoise and Romance, this 25-year-old is sitting pretty with one of the best contracts in the business. A Ralph Lauren deal, says her agent, Chris Gay of Women Management, "is one of the greatest things you can have." Indeed.

14. Hilary Rhoda

$2 Million

The new face of Estée Lauder is also hailed as the new face of fashion

The stunning 21-year-old former athlete from Chevy Chase, Md., is the heir to the famous faces of Estée Lauder. She's a favorite in the pages of Vogue and made waves as the "new" face of fashion with her curvier (for the modeling world) body.

15. Liya Kebede

$1.5 Million

Estée Lauder's first black model was phased out of the company's ads last year, but she's hardly disappeared.

This 30-year-old Ethiopian groundbreaker hangs on by her manicured fingernails to the list by virtue of contracts with H&M, The Gap, Anne Taylor and Givenchy.

Hip-Hop's 20 Biggest Earners of 2-0-0-8!!!!

1. Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson

$150 million

50 Cent has come a long way from his early days dealing drugs in Queens, N.Y., and getting shot nine times. The reigning king of hip-hop wealth banked $100 million after taxes last summer when his stake in VitaminWater's parent, Glacéau, was bought by Coca-Cola as part of a $4.1 billion deal. His portfolio also includes the popular G-Unit clothing line and record label, plus films, videogames and a slew of platinum albums, including last year's Curtis.

2. Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter

$82 million

Brooklyn, N.Y.-born Jay-Z had a monster year, releasing a second platinum comeback album, American Gangster, inspired by the movie of the same title. In April he signed a $150 million, 10-year recording, touring and merchandising deal with concert promoter Live Nation and days later married his longtime girlfriend Beyoncé Knowles on the roof of his New York City penthouse. Jay-Z also owns a stake in the New Jersey Nets and has advertising deals with Dell and Budweiser.

3. Sean "Diddy" Combs

$35 million

The "Dapper Don" of hip-hop continues his decade-long run of good fortune. He brings in cash from his clothing line Sean John, record label Bad Boy, premium vodka Ciroc and two reality-TV shows. His catalog of hits, both as a producer and a rapper, includes collaborations with the likes of Jay-Z and the Notorious B.I.G., as well as rap anthems such as "Mo Money Mo Problems" and "Been Around the World."

4. Kanye West

$30 million

The pink-polo-sporting rapper and producer released his third solo album, Graduation, last September. After handily outselling 50 Cent's Curtis in a head-to-head opening-week matchup, West's album went multiplatinum and won four Grammys. West has penned hits for Jay-Z, Alicia Keys and Diddy, among others. Earlier this month, he headlined the music festival Lollapalooza in his native Chicago.

5. Timothy "Timbaland" Mosley

$22 million

The portly producer has churned out hundreds of tracks for hip-hop's brightest stars, including all four above him on this list. His most popular hits include Jay-Z's "Big Pimpin' " and Ludacris' "Roll Out." More recently, Timbaland has produced pop songs for Björk and Madonna. His second solo album, Shock Value, went platinum after its release in 2007. Timbaland is reportedly producing Jay-Z's next studio album.

6. Pharrell Williams

$20 million

This multifaceted star made his name penning hits for rappers and pop artists alike as part of the production team, the Neptunes. He also fronts the funk-rock band N*E*R*D and is said to be an avid Star Trek fan. A geek with exquisite taste, Williams designs sunglasses for Louis Vuitton and owns apparel lines Ice Cream and Billionaire Boys Club. Esquire named him "the world's best-dressed man" in 2005.

7. Kasseem "Swizz Beatz" Dean

$17 million

The Bronx, N.Y.-born prodigy got his start as a producer at age 16, penning the catchy "Ruff Ryders' Anthem" for DMX. Since then, he's piled up a massive production catalog working with other artists. Last year he released his debut solo album, One Man Band Man. He has appeared in ads for the Gap, owns a stake in trendy toy company Kidrobot and is in talks with Telmex to produce cellphone content.

8. Calvin "Snoop Dogg" Broadus

$16 million

Snoop has parlayed a pimpish image into mainstream fame. Once the embodiment of West Coast gangster rap, he revealed a softer side this year in his reality-TV show, Snoop Dogg's Father Hood, where he's been filmed doing yoga and managing family crises. His ninth album, Ego Trippin', came out in March.

9. André "Dr. Dre" Young

$15 million

Dr. Dre hasn't had a hit in years, but he still gets rich on royalties. A founder of seminal rap group N.W.A, he released his multiplatinum solo opus The Chronic in 1992. Dre spent the rest of the 1990s cutting tracks for the likes of Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg; this decade he's produced songs for 50 Cent and Eminem. Dre also moonlights as an actor, appearing in Set It Off (1996) and Training Day (2001), to name a few.

10. Christopher "Ludacris" Bridges

$14 million

"The Mouth of the South" is known as much for his raunchy lyrics as for his public spats with Bill O'Reilly and Oprah Winfrey. He's also among rap's most consistent performers--all five of his solo albums have gone platinum. Ludacris has parlayed his musical success into a number of substantial acting roles, including an appearance in Crash, which won the 2005 Oscar for Best Picture.

11. Clifford "T.I." Harris

$13 million (tie)

The self-crowned "King of the South" co-founded Grand Hustle Records in 2001 to distribute his mix tapes. Since then, he's become a cross-platform star. Last year he appeared in American Gangster alongside Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington, and his album T.I. vs. T.I.P. debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart. He might have trouble repeating last year's fiscal success. He was busted for machine gun possession last October but reportedly is working on a new album while under house arrest in Atlanta.

11. Dwayne "Lil Wayne" Carter

$13 million (tie)

Along with fellow rapper Juvenile, Lil Wayne got his start in the group Hot Boys. He released his first solo album, The Block is Hot, in 1999, and soon became a Billboard charts mainstay. In June the New Orleans-born rhymester released his much-anticipated album Tha Carter III, which went platinum in its opening week.

12. Marshall "Eminem" Mathers

$12 million (tie)

Like his pal Dr. Dre, Eminem is in the midst of a musical dry spell, but he still gets hefty royalties from his ample body of work as a rapper and actor. His 1999 debut album, The Slim Shady LP, has been certified five-times platinum; his follow-up, The Marshall Mathers LP, sold 1.8 million copies in its opening week. Eminem is said to be working on a new album and is slated to star in Paramount Pictures' Have Gun, Will Travel, a Western remake.

12. Lonnie "Common" Lynn Jr.

$12 million (tie)

Formerly known as Common Sense, the Chicago native is one of hip-hop's most socially conscious artists. An avid supporter of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and HIV/AIDS awareness campaigns, Common has also spoken out against the use of homophobic rap lyrics. Though he released his debut album in 1992, he gained mainstream fame only with last year's release of Finding Forever, which was certified gold and nominated for three Grammys. His substantial acting experience includes roles in Smokin' Aces (2007) and Wanted (2008).

12. Aliaune "Akon" Thiam

$12 million (tie)

After splitting his childhood between Senegal and the U.S., Akon gained mainstream fame with his 2004 hit "Locked Up." Since then, he has become one of hip-hop's most versatile artists. He writes, sings, raps and produces; he often sings the backing vocals on his own tracks; and he has made nearly 150 guest appearances on other artists' songs. His business ventures include a clothing line, an in-the-works reality-TV show and his own Konvict Music imprint, to be distributed by Interscope.

13. Jermaine Dupri

$11 million (tie)

This rapper-turned-super-producer masterminded Usher's chart-topping Confessions in 2004 and followed it up with Mariah Carey's monster comeback album, The Emancipation of Mimi. In 2005 he joined Virgin Music as head of its Urban Music division but resigned a year later following the release of fiancee Janet Jackson's album, 20 Y.O. Now president of Island Def Jam Records, Dupri released his autobiography, Young, Rich and Dangerous: The Making of a Music Mogul, last October.

13. Jonathan "Lil Jon" Smith

$11 million (tie)

The silver-toothed rapper/producer is the self-titled "King of Crunk," a bass-heavy, club-thumping subgenre of Southern rap. Lil Jon became a radio sensation himself in 2004 with an appearance on Usher's hit single "Yeah!," which was punctuated by Lil Jon's trademark exclamations. That year he partnered with liquor baron Sidney Frank (now deceased) to create the energy drink Crunk Juice. His 12-pound, 73-carat "Crunk Ain't Dead" medallion holds the world's record for largest diamond pendant.

14. OutKast

$10 million (tie)

The Georgia duo of Andre "3000" Benjamin and Antawn "Big Boi" Patton make up one of the most musically innovative yet commercially successful hip-hop acts in history. Their six studio albums, from Sony BMG and LaFace Records, have collectively sold over 20 million units. OutKast's double album Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, which featured the infectious hit "Hey Ya," has sold over 10 million copies since its 2003 release.

14. Hakeem "Chamillionaire" Seriki

$10 million (tie)

The Houston native, known as the "Mixtape Messiah," became a household name with the release of "Ridin' Dirty," the catchy, Grammy-winning single from his 2005 platinum album, The Sound of Revenge. The song became a ringtone legend, selling over 3 million downloads. He followed with Ultimate Victory, released last September to moderate success. He also picked up an endorsement deal with Energizer batteries last year.

14. Jayceon "The Game" Taylor

$10 million (tie)

After the release of his Grammy-nominated debut album, The Documentary, in 2005, The Game feuded with 50 Cent and left Aftermath Entertainment for Geffen Records. Since then, The Game released a new album, Doctor's Advocate, and picked up endorsement deals with Skechers, Kangol and British apparel outfit Lonsdale. He co-starred in the low-budget action flick Waist Deep (2006). His third studio album, L.A.X., is due out later this month.

John Meyer And Jennifer Aniston

Ok. So I was reading what was the latest gossip in town. And this is one of them. And I'm so sharing them to you.

"John Mayer defended Jennifer Aniston and described their recent breakup as "the most normal thing in the world" as he spoke to a group of photographers in the SoHo area of New York City Saturday.

"If you guys are going to run stuff and run every lie under the sun, have somebody stand up for somebody," the singer challenged. "Have me as a man who ended a relationship stand here and write some truth. Have me stand up for somebody and write that Jennifer Aniston is the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I've ever met.

"She's one of the most lovely people I've ever met in my life and I'm going through something that's a very personal thing and you have to give that up," he said. "You have to give everything up because you can't have it all and it sucks."" [Source]

This is really sweet of John Meyer. I mean, Jen's been through a lot when it comes to relationships and people that likes her , her fans and the rest of the people of the world who knows her story knows this. And the media (just the gossip people) has been really mean to her and telling her things (as usual most media comments are really mean) Telling people that Jen has a lot of money but no Honey or whatever. But I think Jen's really strong now and she has been through a lot. So I think she'll get along just fine. After all she's been around Hollywood/showbiz too long to get weakened, when she knows what really is behind everything more than the rumors. Good Luck Jen!

Cameron Diaz Highest Paid Actress

Wow. This is really nice. I like Cameron a lot really. Specially her personality. And since her personality is really cool, she's one of the coolest Hollywood actress too! and she banked a lot of money!!!!!!!!

"Believe it or not, she beat out Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston for top honors, banking $50 million in this past year alone.

"That's a whole lot of cash for her only 2008 movie being What Happens In Vegas! Ok, Shrek came out in '07, we'll give her that…

Cam does have a lot on her plate for 2009, including My Sister's Keeper, and Shrek Goes Fourth.

Here's the other five leading ladies that round out the top five highest paid actresses of the year.

5. Gwyneth Paltrow $25 million
4. Reese Witherspoon $25 million
3. Jennifer Aniston $27 million
2. Keira Knightley $32 million
1. Cameron Diaz $50 million "

Sigh.. I wish I have this money too. I'm still as broke as the brokest.. hehe.. well not really.. haha!

Micheal Phelps

Omg! This is one of the hottest athletes in town. Micheal Phelps. Anyway guys.. I've admired him since he was 19 and have read a bit of him and stuffs about him at one of the mags that I bought 4 years ago. His pictures there were from the interviews on and before the Athens Olympics. And as time goes by he just keeps on getting hotter! So I'm posing here some of the facts and a little bio about Micheal Phelps. ^_^

Michael Fred Phelps II (born June 30, 1985 in Baltimore, Maryland) is an American swimmer and World Record Holder in several events. Phelps' achievements include a record of eight medals at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, six of which were gold, tying the Olympic record for medals at single Olympics, held by Alexander Dityatin since 1980.[5] His international titles, along with his various world records, have resulted in him being named World Swimmer of the Year four times in 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2007.

Career

Early career

At the age of 15, Phelps first appeared at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney as the youngest American male swimmer at an Olympic Games in 68 years. While he didn't win a medal, he was fifth in the 200 m Butterfly. Phelps proceeded to make a name for himself in swimming shortly thereafter. Five months after the Sydney Olympics, Phelps broke the world record in the 200 m butterfly to become, at 15 years and 9 months, the youngest man ever to set a swimming world record. He then broke his own record again at the World Championships in Fukuoka, Japan (1:54.58). At the 2002 Summer Nationals in Fort Lauderdale, Phelps also broke the world record for the 400 m individual medley and set American marks in the 100 m butterfly and the 200 m individual medley.

In 2003, Phelps broke his own world record in the 400 m individual medley (4:09.09) and in June, he broke the world record in the 200 m individual medley (1:56.04). Then on July 7, 2004, Phelps broke his own world record again in the 400 m individual medley (4:08.41) during the U.S. trials for the 2004 Summer Olympics.

Phelps' dominance has brought comparisons to former swimming great Mark Spitz,[6] who won seven gold medals in the 1972 Summer Olympics, a world record. Phelps tied Mark Spitz's record of 4 individual gold medals by winning four himself. Phelps had the chance to break Spitz's record of 7 total gold medals in the 2004 Athens Olympics by competing in eight swimming events (5 of which were individual events): the 200 m freestyle, the 100 m butterfly, the 200 m butterfly, the 200 m individual medley, the 400 m individual medley, the 4x100 m freestyle relay, 4x200 m freestyle relay, and the 4x100 m medley relay. However, his 4x100 m freestyle relay team only won the bronze medal, and he personally placed for bronze in the 200 m freestyle. Thus, he fell short of that record. However, he did win eight medals in one Olympics, a feat only achieved by Alexander Dityatin, a gymnast, in the 1980 Olympics in Moscow.

Had he won seven golds, he would have been eligible for a US$1 million bonus from his sponsor, Speedo.[7]
Phelps does, however, have another chance at this $1 million should he win eight golds at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.

On August 14, 2004, he won his first Olympic gold, in the 400 m individual medley, setting another new world record (4:08.26). On August 16 he was beaten by the Australian winner Ian Thorpe and the Dutch Pieter van den Hoogenband in 200 m freestyle final, called the race of the century.[8]

On August 20, in the 100 m butterfly final, Phelps defeated American teammate Ian Crocker (who holds the world record in the event) by just 0.04 seconds. Traditionally, the Olympian who places highest in an individual event will be automatically given the corresponding leg of the 4x100 m medley relay. This gave Phelps an automatic entry into the medley relay but he deferred and Crocker swam instead. The American medley team went on to win the event in world record time, and, since he had raced in a preliminary heat of the medley relay, Phelps was also awarded a gold medal along with the team members that competed in the final.

Personal life

Michael has two older sisters, Whitney and Hilary. Both excelled at swimming. Whitney was a promising swimmer but phased her swimming skills into a recreational, rather than competitive, field due to a debilitating back injury.

Phelps grew up in the Rodgers Forge neighborhood of Baltimore and graduated from Towson High School in the summer of 2003.

Phelps, along with Ian Crocker and Lenny Krayzelburg, founded the "Swim with the Stars" program. This program promotes swimming and conducts camps for swimmers of all ages.

Phelps has an unusual body build that help him move through the water. His strong torso and short legs give his excellent balance and thrust in the water. It also helps that he has very slightly webbed feet. A small, but helpful genetic quality.

As of 2007, Phelps is now attending University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Phelps followed his longtime coach, Bob Bowman to Ann Arbor. Bowman left Phelps' previous swim team, the North Baltimore Aquatic Club, to become the head swimming coach of the University of Michigan varsity swim team. Phelps is also serving as a volunteer assistant coach and is taking classes, intending to major in sports marketing or sports management. Phelps cannot swim for the team, however, because his endorsement deals with Speedo and other companies have caused him to forfeit his amateur status. He is sponsored by Speedo, Visa, Omega, PowerBar, and Matsunichi [1].

DUI incident

On November 4, 2004, Phelps was arrested for driving under the influence after being pulled over for running a stop sign at Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland, having a specific blood alcohol content of 0.08. Phelps pled guilty to driving while impaired, avoiding charges of driving under the influence, underage drinking, and failure to stop at a stop sign. Phelps was sentenced to 18 months of probation, fined $250, required to attend a Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) meeting, and required to give speeches to students at three area high schools by June 1, 2005.

Vanessa Hudgens, was sued $5 million?

Omg! is this really true?!

High School Musical star Vannessa Hudgens is being sued by producer Johnny Vieira for more than $5 million and punitive damages.

In May 2005, Vieira claims he and Vanessa entered into an agreement to launch Vanessa’s career and “share equally” in the profits. But after High School Musical became a hit, he says she dropped him and owes him $2 million.

Vanessa even sent a photo of herself to Viera with this inscription: “Johnny, thank you for everything, without you, I would be no where [sic], we will make it BIG- Vanessa Hudgens. Sweet. [source]

tsk tsk tsk.. I like her :(. Ill fortune on the half-pinay Nessa now. I hope that this will be settled soon. There's been a lot of rumours going on about her and stuff and not all of them are true. I don't know how true this are but I hope she finds peace. lol.. No seriously. She's talented, beautiful, sexy (since she's on of the hottest lady in town according to FHM's 100 sexiest women in the world of 2008), a really good singer and actress what more could she ask for?.. But since she's really good at stuff, maybe htat's the reason there are a lot of rumours going on. They just make her more famous anyway. Hehe.. Goodluck Nessa! more power to you. hope this will be all gone soon.

Britney Shocked on her Sister's Pregnancy?

Britney Spears, for the first time in 2 years, she has actually given an interview. In Los, Angeles, California she has opened about the shock of her sister Jamie Lynn's Teen pregnancy in an interview with OK! Magazine.

"Britney traveled to her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, for the birth of her niece by the now 17-year-old Jamie Lynn, and while she was thrilled with little baby Maddie, she was taken aback". (Source: YAhoo! omG!)

"That was special, but it was also strange because she's always been the baby, and now the baby was having a baby. It was mind-boggling. I was shocked a little bit," Britney told OK! "But it was really cool, and she was happy. When she got to the hospital, we all thought it was going to be an all-day thing, and instead, the baby just sort of popped out. OK, we're happy now!"(Source: YAhoo! omG!)

Britney said Jamie Lynn will be bringing baby Maddie to Los Angeles soon, allowing the newborn to finally meet her cousins - Sean Preston, and Jayden James. (Britney's sons) (Source: YAhoo! omG!)

Plus her father Jamie Spears has offered an update about her conservatorship over Britney's estate and what The former pop princes thinks of her ex.

Well it was a shock for her. and then she's working out on her new album and then she also told OK! that she was also writing songs and is by the piano almost day and night. which is really cool and I hope that she recovers as well. I used to like her a lot. Good luck on your next plans Britney!

Miley Cyrus Would Baby Sit Ashlee's Baby?

I was listening to the weekend count down this morning when I heard this. The Dj was kinda saying a lot of things about Hollywood celebrities and this one kinda caught my attention. Since Miley Cyrus is one of the teen queens and has a voice that sounds like not her. (No offense Miley I like you. Peace! hehe..) and a lot of blahs..

Well according to the Dj.. If Miley is going to baby sit a baby it's gonnab e Ashlee Simpson's and Pete Wentz's Kid. And Confirmed it is true. I'm even a bit late! I was reading the article online, And indeed she offered to baby sit the famous couple's kid. And this is the exact lines.

Miley Cyrus was a bit star struck when she met Ashlee Simpson - Wentz during a taping of F’N MTV on Friday. She told Ashlee’s husband and show creator Pete Wentz.

“I just met your beautiful wife backstage, I worship her,” Cyrus went on. “I’ll baby sit!”

Maybe they’ll take Miley up on it, but I doubt she’ll have time. The 15-year-old teen sensation just hosted the Teen Choice Awards, where she came home with three awards for choice female musical artist, choice actress and her hit TV show Hannah Montana. (Source: The Insider).

Wow. She likes Ashlee. Cool. And they even have a picture together. Aslee looks radiant!

Bernie Mac is Dead.

Comedian Bernie Mac is officially dead. My condolences to the people he left behind, His wife Rhonda McCullough and his daughter, Je'Niece. He was such a good actor. and I like him! He died at age 50, last Saturday morning a Chicago-area hospital from complications due to pneumonia, according to his publicist, Danica Smith.

In 2005, it was revealed that the comedian suffered from sarcoidosis. He had been suffering from the inflammatory lung disease since 1983. His rep previously said Mac's sarcoidosis was not related to the pneumonia, which hospitalized the star last week.(source: yahoo OMG!)

Mac was an Emmy and Golden-Globe nominated actor, whose hit show, "The Bernie Mac Show," ran on FOX from 2001 through 2006. (source: yahoo OMG!)

Tsk tsk tsk. Men, People.. No matter how rich and how famous and how whatever you are. When it's your time, it's your time. and death.. It's one of the unstoppable things in the planet. People leave people behind. You cry. But in the long run. The people you left behind will get over it. And you will just become a memory. Hope he rests in Peace.

Largest Flower in the World

This is the largest flower in the world. It is found in Belgium at Meise National Botanic Garden, north of Brussels.

Amorphophallus Titanum, or The Titan Arum was discovered in Sumatra's tropical forests, and is known as the "corpse flower" due to its bad smell. It takes up to 15 years to bloom and rarely does so in cultivation and has an indescribably awful smell for about 12 hours when it first opens.

hahaha.. I don't want to see (in real life.. that is ) or to be near this flower. If it stinks for 12 hours after it blooms, then I am more than contented to see it in pictures and to know that it is the largest flower in the world.. lol

But anyway.. It's amazing to know that such gigantic flowers exists, like the one that we have here in the Philippines (the former largest flower) and the one in Malaysia which can be found in the forests as well.
