What I Realized...
After the break-up that I didn't anticipate lol, well who wants break ups anyway? huh? OK so here are the following things I've realized. I feel like blabbing today so I must write them all while I could, and I'll sleep after this.. Or maybe not. LOL
1) I am still a little Bitter.
2) MOST Men are polygamous by nature.
3) MOST Men, tends to womanize from time to time.
4) MOST Men could really, really be defensive when you ask them about something ESPECIALLY WHEN THE CASE IS ABOUT OTHER WOMEN. They'll tell you to trust them that they'll never break your heart.
5) MOST men wants their GF to "trust them" but just keeps doing things that makes their girl doubtful about them.
6) When women/girls gets hurt, all the defense mechanisms rises and she will do anything to forget and move on.
7) Most Men feel like "THEY ARE THE MAN" so they have to decide and control the relationship not minding that they are hurting their girlfriends. They just want to go with the flow and flaunt their super EGO.
8) Long Distance Relationships are the hardest kind of relationship to maintain.
9) Why can't other men just stick to one girl at a time?
10) Women gets possessive from time to time. BECAUSE most men doesn't value their girlfriends, when she finds out that he has another woman, the possessive bone gets activated.
11) Most men are not brave enough to tell their women how they love them. BECAUSE they are AFRAID that they might be rejected or something like that which is ridiculous in every angle!
12) When you caught your man saying I LOVE YOU to other WOMEN, and confront him about it he freaks out just when you have calmed down.
13) Since he has a plan B (the other woman) He suggest Break UP. And you, the woman who loves your man so much, will be in PANIC mode and you will BEG him to stay and think it over.
14) and then He tells you that IT'S OVER, still you will CONTINUE to BEG and then after that he will tell you that he will be thinking about it. And You, as a girl will grant him his wish that "HE NEEDS SPACE".
15) After giving him the space that he needs, and tells you that he needs to talk to you, he tells you that he doesn't want to be your man anymore because he can't take your "MISTRUST" But, the truth was: He's super prepared to let you go because you have uncovered his secret and is prepared to go on with plan b and he really doesn't want you anymore.
16) Why do men needs back up plans? it's not like women will be extinct or something?!
17) Stop looking around when love is already in front of you. Because just when you realize that she's important and you don't want to lose her, there she goes >>> moving on.
18) How come when it's a man's fault, a girl has to give way?
19) When most men are caught womanizing, they will defend themselves to death. Even if you ask him what really is the real reason behind (like let him tell you what's wrong with you) not sparing your feelings, He won't tell you the truth.
20) It sucks when you're being lied on BIG TIME.
21) PRETENSIONS SUCKS NEVER TELL SOMEONE YOU LOVE HER OR HIM WHEN YOU DON'T REALLY MEAN IT!
22) You want to be trusted? Please show that you are TRUST WORTHY!
23) BE HONEST ENOUGH to your boyfriend or girlfriend and tell him what you really, really feel.
24) DON'T KEEP SECRETS. You have to tell your boyfriend or girlfriend that you don't love/like her anymore when you don't.
25) TALK THINGS OVER.
26) Calm down. DON'T SUPER FREAK OUT. IT'S ANNOYING.
27) Accept it when someone says "SORRY".
28) You have to breathe.
29) When He or She tells you it's over. Just accept it. You can't do anything about it anyway, that is if you can't do anything about it.
30) When He or She asks for a chance, give at least 3.. See if it works, if it doesn't let go.
31) There he goes throwing everything away without caring how you would feel because ALL HE CARES IS: YOU'VE DONE SOMETHING WRONG BY INVADING HIS PRIVACY BY KNOWING THAT HE HAS ANOTHER WOMAN.
32) IF HE OR SHE OFFERS FRIENDSHIP AFTER THE RELATIONSHIP, ACCEPT IT. AT LEAST YOU'RE STILL FRIENDS LOL.
These are the things in my head as of the moment,I'll share the rest in the near future.. hehehe
Love lots!
gotta sleep.
Circus - Britney Spears
The ones that entertain, and the ones that observe
Well baby, I'm a put-on-a-show kind of girl
Don't like the backseat
Gotta be first
(Oh..)
I'm a like the ringleader, I call the shots (Call the shots)
I'm like a firecracker, I make it hot
When I put on a show...
[Pre-Chorus]
I feel the adrenaline moving through my veins
Spotlight on me and I'm ready to break
I'm like a performer, the dancefloor is my stage
Better be ready, hope that you feel the same
[Chorus]
All eyes on me, in the center of the ring
(Just like a Circus) (Uh. Uh.Uh-huh)
When I crack that whip, everybody gonna trip
(Just like a Circus) (Uh. Uh. Uh-huh)
Don't stand there watching me, follow me, show me what you can do
Everybody let go, we can make a dancefloor
(Just like a Circus) (Uh. Uh. Uh-huh)
HA. HA. HA. HA. HA. HA. HA.
[Verse 2]
There's only two types of guys out there
Ones that can hang with me, and ones that are scared
So baby, I hope that you, came prepared
I run a tight ship, so beware
I'm a like the ringleader, I call the shots (Call the shots)
I'm like a firecracker, I make it hot
When I put on a show...
[Pre-Chorus]
I feel the adrenaline moving through my veins
Spotlight on me and I'm ready to break
I'm like a performer, the dancefloor is my stage
Better be ready, hope that you feel the same
[Chorus]
All eyes on me, in the center of the ring
(Just like a Circus) (Uh. Uh. Uh-huh)
When I crack that whip, everybody gonna trip
(Just like a Circus) (Uh. Uh. Uh-huh)
Don't stand there watching me, follow me, show me what you can do
Everybody let go, we can make a dancefloor
(Just like a Circus) (Uh. Uh. Uh-huh)
HA. HA. HA. HA. HA. HA. HA. (Let's go)
[Break]
(Uh. Uh. Uh-huh) Let me see what you can do
(Uh. Uh. Uh-huh) I'm runnin' this
(Like-like-like a circus) Yeah
Like a what? (Like-like-like a circus)

Unusual You - Britney Spears
Nothin' about you's predictable
You got me all twisted and confused
(It's so you)
Up 'til now, I thought I knew love
Nothin' to lose and it's damaged 'cause
Pattern to fall as quick as I do
(But now)
Bridges are burnin'
Baby, I'm learnin'
A new way of thinking now
Love, I can see
Nothing will be
Just like it was
Is that because
Baby, you're so unusual
Didn't anyone tell you you're s'posed to
Break my heart, I expect you to
So why haven't you?
Maybe you're not even human 'cause
Only an angel could be so unusual
Sweet surprise I could get used to
Unusual you
Ah-ah, ah ah
Ah-ah, ah ah
Ah-ah, ah ah
Ah-ah, ah ah
Been so many things when I was someone else
Boxer in the ring, tryin' to defend myself
And the private eye to see what's goin' on
(That's long gone)
When I'm with you, I can just be myself
You're always where you say you will be
Shocking, 'cause I never knew love like this
Could exist
Tables are turnin'
My heart is soarin'
You'll never let me down
Answer my call
Here after all
Never met anyone
Like you
Baby, you're so unusual
Didn't anyone tell you you're s'posed to
Break my heart, I expect you to
So why haven't you?
Maybe you're not even human 'cause
Only an angel could be so unusual
Sweet surprise I could get used to
Unusual you
Ah-ah, ah ah
Ah-ah, ah ah
Ah-ah, ah ah
Ah-ah, ah ah
Can't believe that I
Almost didn't try
When you called my name
Now everything is changed
Baby, you're so unusual
Didn't anyone tell you you're s'posed to
Break my heart, I expect you to
So why haven't you?
Maybe you're not even human 'cause
Only an angel could be so unusual
Sweet surprise I could get used to
Unusual you
Ah-ah, ah ah
Ah-ah, ah ah
Ah-ah, ah ah
Ah-ah, ah ah
Sober - Pink
Or the girl who never wants to be alone
I don't wanna be that call at four o'clock in the morning
'Cause I'm the only one you know in the world that won't be home
Aahh, the sun is blinding
I stayed up again
Oohh, I am finding
That's not the way I want my story to end
I'm safe
Up high
Nothing can touch me
But why do I feel this party's over?
No pain
Inside
You're my protection
But how do I feel this good sober?
I don't wanna be the girl who has to fill the silence...
The quiet scares me 'cause it screams the truth
Please don't tell me that we had that conversation
When I won't remember, save your breath, 'cause what's the use?
Aahh, the night is calling
And it whispers to me softly, "come and play"
Aahh, I am falling
And if I let myself go, I'm the only one to blame
I'm safe
Up high
Nothing can touch me
But why do I feel this party's over?
No pain
Inside
You're like perfection
But how do I feel this good sober?
I'm comin' down
Comin' down
Comin' down
Spinnin' round
Spinnin' round
Spinnin' round
Looking for myself.. Sober
Comin' down
Comin' down
Comin' down
Spinnin' round
Spinnin' round
Spinnin' round
Looking for myself.. Sober
When it's good, then it's good, it's so good, 'till it goes bad
Till you're trying to find the you that you once had
I have heard myself cry
Never again
Broken down in agony
And just trying to find a friend
I'm safe
Up high
Nothing can touch me
But why do I feel this party's over?
No pain
Inside
You're like perfection
But how do I feel this good sober?
I'm safe
Up high
Nothing can touch me
But why do I feel this party's over?
No pain
Inside
You're like perfection
But how do I feel this good sober?
How do I feel this good sober?

All Around Me - FLYLEAF
My arms are outstretched towards you
I feel you on my fingertips
My tongue dances behind my lips for you
This fire rising through my being
Burning I'm not used to seeing you
I'm alive, I'm alive
I can feel you all around me
Thickening the air I'm breathing
Holding on to what I'm feeling
Savoring this heart that's healing
My hands float up above me
And you whisper you love me
And I begin to fade
Into our secret place
The music makes me sway
The angels singing say we are alone with you
I am alone and they are too with you
I'm alive, I'm alive
I can feel you all around me
Thickening the air I'm breathing
Holding on to what I'm feeling
Savoring this heart that's healing
And so I cry
The light is white
And I see you
I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive
I can feel you all around me
Thickening the air I'm breathing
Holding on to what I'm feeling
Savoring this heart that's healing
Take my hand
I give it to you
Now you own me
All I am
You said you would never leave me
I believe you
I believe
I can feel you all around me
Thickening the air I'm breathing
Holding on to what I'm feeling
Savoring this heart that's healed
My Reply.
"there's no room for hate in a a heart filled with love."
- I definetly agree. how can you hate when there's love? In love, if there are a lot of reasons to hate, there are a lot of reasons to fall deeply in love as well.
"Love is an endless act of forgiveness."
- when you're in love, you are pretty much brainless, emotions have no brains you get jelouse, he gets pissed off, then you go to war. If he gets impatient, he'll just end it. But if he really feels for you, he'll give you a chance. A chance to start new and make up. You forgive despite the wrong things you have done. You give chances. at least 3. ;)
"Trust me, I’ve been there. I know what it’s like."
- I've been there too.. And I very much know what it's like.
"Rule #1 Never make promises you can't keep." '
- Promises are meant to be broken. WRONG. Never. ever. ever. ever say "I Promise" when you are not sure that you really can do it.
"the only way to mend a broken heart is to fall in love again"
- yes. because you can transfer the feelings to a different person. But it will never be the same. it's either you love more, or love get's lesser.
While we consider when to begin, it becomes too late.
- true. things change. plans change. moods change.
"Good conversations: made possible when you practice the art of listening."
- so true. when you're a good listener.. Things would be really better.
"Believe what you see and lay aside what you hear. "
- to see is to believe.
Love - love - love
there's no room for hate in a a heart filled with love.
"Love is an endless act of forgiveness."
"Trust me, I’ve been there. I know what it’s like."
"Rule #1 Never make promises you can't keep." '
"the only way to mend a broken heart is to fall in love again"
While we consider when to begin, it becomes too late.
"Good conversations: made possible when you practice the art of listening."
Believe what you see and lay aside what you hear.
these are all from dj delfino's profile in myspace..
I wish a guy like him would love me too..

Young Blood Spills Tonight - Eyes Set To Kill
From my neck embraced by
A concealed grip I welcomed in my arms, in my arms, in my arms
Bruised by your love
Burned by your kiss
Is this true love?
Is this true love?
Bruised by your love
Burned by your kiss
Is this true love?
Is this true love?
Young blood spills tonight
This time the victim is you
Poison lips, the ones you kiss
I swear my love for you is true
Young blood spills
Now here I sing
My deadly lullaby
Bruised by your love
Burned by your kiss
Is this true love?
Is this true love?
Bruised by your love
Burned by your kiss
Is this true love?
Is this true love?
Now here I sing my deadly lullaby
Now here I sing to hypnotize your body
Now here I sing my deadly lullaby
Now here I sing to hypnotize your body
We bled that night till drained
You drank me dry I did the same
We bleed this night till drained
This cold
We bled that night till drained
You drank me dry I did the same
We bleed this night till drained
This cold, this cold night
Eyes Set To Kill - Beauty Through Broken Glass
I couldn't hide to save my life.
Standing drenched from open wounds.
You took my hand, and pulled me through.
(Chorus)
I want to give you everything
Ill give you my all because you gave me
You gave me your lips
a gentle kiss
the medicine to cure my pain
listen to all this glass shatter.
i peirced my ears and made them bleed.
Now sounds so beautiful
Cause you're beatiful.
You're beautiful.
Chorus
Quod Me Nutrit, Me Destruit
Quod Me Nutrit, Me Destruit
is a latin phrase that translates into "What nourishes me, also destroys me.". Is a really c ool phrase. I think I mean almost everything in latin is cool for me. lol. This phrase is even in Angelina Jolie's Body! She tattooed on her lower abdomen along with a thick, black, cross.I have always been fascinated with latin thingies. And this one really caught my attention today.

Two million fans paid $100 million to see J.T. on his FutureSex/Love Show tour. The former boy-band member also appeared in a Super Bowl commercial for Pepsi, heads his own music label and has signed a development deal with MTV.
Kobe Bryant
Age: 30
Earnings: $39 million
This year, the Lakers' shooting guard became the youngest player in NBA history to score 20,000 points. His endorsement portfolio includes Sony and Coca-Cola's VitaminWater, but his biggest paycheck comes from Nike.
LeBron James
Age: 23
Earnings: $38 million
King James added an NBA scoring title and his second All-Star Game MVP award to his list of accolades this season. His bank account got a boost from a new State Farm Insurance deal and the extension of one with Coca-Cola.
Roger Federer
Age: 27
Earnings: $35 million
The world's top tennis player won $10 million in prize money in 2007--and another three grand slams. He recently signed up for 10 more years with Nike, one of the biggest deals ever in tennis.
Keira Knightley
Age: 23
Earnings: $32 million
Knightly is that rare actress who can rake in the big bucks from a CGI extravaganza (Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End) and star in an Oscar-nominated romance film (Atonement) in the same year. She's also cashing in with a series of racy ads for Coco Chanel Mademoiselle perfume.
Maria Sharapova
Age: 21
Earnings: $26 million
There's nothing like the combination of talent and good looks to woo corporations looking to spend endorsement dollars. Sharapova's Australian Open title this year was her third Grand Slam win, along with 16 other singles titles. She's recently added Sony to an endorsement portfolio that includes Pepsi, Colgate-Palmolive, Nike and Motorola.
Daniel Radcliffe
Age: 19
Earnings: $25 million
Last summer the British-born boy wizard, 18, signed a jaw-dropping contract worth an estimated $50 million to continue his leading role in the last two installments of the Harry Potter series. (The final story, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows, has since split into two movies, meaning even more cash for him.) He also played the title role in the BBC's TV movie My Boy Jack, a World War I story about Rudyard Kipling's ill-fated son, and he's been baring all on Broadway in Equus.
Miley Cyrus
Age: 16
Earnings: $25 million
Cyrus' 70-date Best of Both Worlds concert tour sold out faster than you could say "Hannah Montana," leaving legions of screaming girls scrambling for tickets. In the last year, the 15-year-old also sold millions of CDs, signed a book deal and began filming a movie based on her Disney Channel series. She most recently lent her voice to animated canine comedy Bolt.
Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen
Age: 22
Earnings: $15 million
The petite twins lord over Dualstar, the largest star-driven 'tween merchandising empire on the planet outside of Disney. Mary-Kate and Ashley merchandise retails at Wal-Mart; their new high-end Elizabeth & James sportswear is available at Neiman Marcus. Not that the twins have given up acting. Mary-Kate had an extended role on Showtime's Weeds and generated headlines for her on-camera kiss with Ben Kingsley in the Sundance film The Wackness. Ashley is filming The Informers with Winona Ryder.
Serena Williams
Age: 27
Earnings: $14 million
The younger of the storied Williams sisters, Serena has bounced back with a vengeance with three tournament wins this year, matching her combined total from 2005 to 2007. Her endorsement stable includes Hewlett-Packard, Nike and Kraft.
Venus Williams
Age: 28
Earnings: $13 million
Big sister Venus defeated Serena at this year's Wimbledon final, showing she's got plenty left in the tank. She's parlayed success on the court into her own fashion line, EleVen, a collection of casual and performance footwear and apparel.
Katherine Heigl
Age: 30
Earnings: $13 million
Katherine Heigl has proved herself as more than just a pretty face. She denounced Knocked Up as "a little sexist" in print. Heigl also elicited a storm of negative publicity when she withdrew her name from consideration for an Emmy Award in 2008. While many in the media speculated her career would take hit, she has continued in her role as Izzy Stevens on Grey's Anatomy, and her last film, 27 Dresses, earned $159 million worldwide.
Jonas Brothers
Ages: 16,19 and 21
Earnings: $12 million
In the past year, these 'tween rockers, ages 16 to 21, pulled in $9 million from touring, plus another $3 million from CD sales, merchandise and TV deals. In the works: a movie, reality-TV series and TV drama.
Zac Efron
Age: 21
Earnings: $5.8 million
The High School Musical star and 'tween heartthrob, 21, had success last summer in Hairspray and continued the franchise with this fall's High School Musical 3: Senior Year. Upcoming movies: Seventeen Again (a comedy) and Me and Orson Welles (an indie).
Emma Watson
Age: 18
Earnings: $5.5 million
Her coy suggestions to the press two years ago that she may need a break from the Harry Potter film franchise, in which she plays Hermione Granger, no doubt sent Warner Brothers into convulsions. For the last three flicks, including last summer's Order of the Phoenix, she scored a substantial raise, earning an estimated $4 million per film. In July, she confessed to Parade magazine that she has enough money now to never work again, adding, "but I would never want that."
Ashley Tisdale
Age: 23
Earnings: $5.5 million
Tisdale, 23, headed to the big screen this fall as Vanessa Hudgens' foil in High School Musical 3: Senior Year. She also does voice work for the Disney Channel's animated Phineasand Ferb and endorses Red by Marc Ecko.
Hillary Duff
Age: 21
Earnings: $5 million
The pop star-actress-'tween merchandise mogul has replaced the Olsen Twins as your teenage daughter's favorite. The "Her Stuff by Hilary Duff" line of apparel and accessories is sold at Kohl's, Target and Claire's. Duff also licenses her name to footwear company Candie's and Electronic Arts, which made her a character in the Sims videogame franchise. In April, she released her sixth studio album, Dignity, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard pop charts. She most recently starred in action flick War, Inc., opposite John Cusack.
Rupert Grint
Age: 20
Earnings: $5 million
The ginger-topped Harry Potter co-star saw his salary increase substantially for this summer's installment, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, which has, to date, grossed $938 million worldwide. Playing Potter pal Ron Weasley should set Grint up for life. He's already filming Half-Blood Prince, with the film adaptation of the final novel, Deathly Hallows, scheduled to follow.
Vanessa Anne Hudgens
Age: 19
Earnings: $3.2 million
Vanessa Hudgens has used her High School Musical fame to segue into another industry--music. Hudgens released V in September 2006, which sold 570,000 copies as of April. Her next album, Identified, was released in July and peaked at No. 23 on the Billboard 200. Her estimated $3.2 million bottom line was buoyed by endorsement deals with Marc Ecko and Neutrogena.

Hollywood's 10 Most Overpaid Movie Stars
Nicole Kidman
Kidman has an Oscar and earns $15 million paydays, but she's proved to offer a poor return on investment. Despite bringing in $370 million in worldwide box office, The Golden Compass only grossed $3.36 for every dollar Kidman was paid. The Invasion lost $2.68 for every dollar that went to Kidman. She has a chance for a high-profile comeback with this fall's epic Australia, which could earn the Aussie her third best actress nomination.
For every dollar she was paid, Nicole Kidman's movies averaged $1 of gross income.
Jennifer Garner
Garner has stayed fairly under the radar since her 2005 big-budget disaster Elektra, which cost $40 million to make and earned only $56 million worldwide. Unfortunately for Garner her follow-up films didn't do much better. Both Catch and Release and The Kingdom underperformed at the box office.
For every dollar she was paid, Jennifer Garner's movies averaged $3.60 of gross income.
Tom Cruise
His recent cameo as a foul-mouthed studio exec in Tropic Thunder is earning raves and might usher in the era of Tom Cruise comedies. In the meantime, Cruise has to deal with the fallout from his recent dramatic blunder, Lions for Lambs. The film's box office ($63 million worldwide) was bad enough that even without taking any upfront pay Cruise still earned the movie only $1.88 for every dollar he was paid.
For every dollar he was paid, Tom Cruise's movies averaged $4 of gross income.
Cameron Diaz
The highest paid actress in Hollywood, Diaz pulled in $50 million last year. But her high salary makes it hard for the romantic comedies she stars in to earn a good return. The Holiday brought in $205 million worldwide but Diaz's high payday meant the film only grossed $3.70 for every dollar Diaz was paid.
For every dollar she was paid, Cameron Diaz's movies averaged $4 of gross income.
Jennifer Lopez
The singer/actress/designer has struggled at the box office for the past few years, choosing small projects like 2006's El Cantante, a low-budget musical biopic starring her husband Marc Anthony, which barely registered at the box office. Her last big film was 2005's Monster-in-Law, which grossed $155 million worldwide returning $6.85 for every dollar Lopez was paid.
For every dollar she was paid, Jennifer Lopez's movies averaged $4.10 of gross income.
Jim Carrey
Long gone are the days when Carrey could attract crowds with his talking backside. The actor's latest attempt at a serious film, last year's The Number 23, flopped at the box office, earning only $77 million worldwide. Carrey has a chance to turn things around with this winter's Yes Man. Carrey has so much faith in the comedy that he reportedly took no money upfront for his starring performance.
For every dollar he was paid, Jim Carrey's movies averaged $4.11 of gross income.
Nicolas Cage
2007 was a year of highs and lows for Nicolas Cage. Book of Secrets, the sequel to Cage's 2004 hit National Treasure, grossed $456 million worldwide. The sci-fi thriller Next, released that spring, brought in only $73 million. The movie lost 50 cents for every dollar Cage was paid.
For every dollar he was paid, Nicolas Cage's movies averaged $4.16 of gross income.
Drew Barrymore
Barrymore has been unlucky at the box office recently despite the title of her last film: Lucky You. The movie grossed a mere $8 million in worldwide box office, which means it lost 17 cents for every dollar Barrymore was paid. Maybe that's why she's taking a bigger role behind the camera. She's currently directing her first film, Whip It!, about a female roller derby league.
For every dollar she was paid, Drew Barrymore's movies averaged $4.38 of gross income.
Will Ferrell
The former Saturday Night Live star did well with high-grossing comedies like Blades of Glory. The sports tale grossed $4.95 for every dollar Ferrell was paid. But he stumbled with his more serious turn in 2006's Stranger Than Fiction, which grossed $53 million in worldwide box office, only $1.63 for every dollar Ferrell was paid.
For every dollar he was paid, Will Ferrell's movies averaged $4.67 of gross income.
Cate Blanchett
The actress is better known for her acting skills than her box office draw. She has been nominated for five Oscars. But she stumbled in our list with her 2003 movie The Missing, which earned only $38 million in worldwide box office but cost approximately $65 million to produce. For every dollar Blanchett was paid, the film lost $2.94. She did better with Babel, in which she played Brad Pitt's injured wife. The film grossed $135 million worldwide, $13.20 for every dollar Blanchett earned.
For every dollar she was paid, Cate Blanchett's movies averaged $4.97 of gross income.

Top Hollywood Pay--Men Vs. Women
Will Smith
$80 million
Smith earns big bucks for his action hero roles in films like Hancock and I Am Legend. But he's also looking out for an Oscar. He was nominated for his work in Ali and The Pursuit of Happyness.
Johnny Depp
$72 million
Depp rakes it in with his bizarre turn as drunken Captain Jack Sparrow in Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Rumors are now swirling that he'll earn $56 million upfront for a fourth installment.
Eddie Murphy
$55 million
The reclusive comedian may have bombed with his most recent film, Meet Dave, but his overall track record for family-friendly fare is good enough for studios to keep producing his movies.
Mike Myers
$55 million
His Shrek movies appeal to both kids and grown-ups, but his live-action films are a tougher sell. His summer movie The Love Guru earned a paltry $41 million worldwide.
Cameron Diaz
$50 million
The top-earning woman on our list, Diaz turns out solid performances in romantic comedies like this year's What Happens in Vegas. But she still earned $30 million less than top-earning actor Will Smith last year.
Leonardo DiCaprio
$45 million
DiCaprio is the rare actor who can bring in large audiences for adult fare like Blood Diamond and The Aviator. He's been nominated for three Oscars but has yet to win.
Bruce Willis
$41 million
His action star days are mostly behind him, but Willis still managed to fill seats with his fourth turn as John McClane in last year's Live Free or Die Hard.
Ben Stiller
$40 million
Stiller's Night at the Museum was a monster hit earning $575 million at the worldwide box office. No surprise that a sequel is in the works for next year.
Nicolas Cage
$38 million
Cage's films can be hit or miss but he still earns big paychecks. They pay off when a movie like National Treasure: Book of Secrets earns $457 million worldwide.
Keira Knightley
$32 million
The second woman on our list, Knightley earns out from her role in the Pirate movies as Elizabeth Swan. When not appearing in the blockbusters, she sticks to more serious films like last year's Atonement.
Hollywood's Other Top-Earning Women
While they don't come close to their male counterparts, they aren't exactly poor, either.
Jennifer Aniston
$27 million
The former "friend" finally found a breakout role with 2006's The Break-Up, which starred Aniston and her then-flame Vince Vaughn as a couple coping with the end of their relationship.
Reese Witherspoon
$25 million
Witherspoon has yet to star in a film as big as the two Legally Blonde movies that put her into the $15 million paycheck club. Her serious war film, Rendition, flopped at the box office with a worldwide gross of only $27 million.
Gwyneth Paltrow
$25 million
The Oscar winner has been fairly absent from the screen lately because of her desire to spend time with her two young children, Apple and Moses. But she made a comeback this year as a sexy girl Friday in the mega-hit Iron Man.
Jodie Foster
$23 million
The former child star is enjoying a second career as the thinking woman's action hero. She elevates genre films like The Brave One and Flightplan with her intense acting and audiences love it. Flightplan earned $223 million worldwide
Sarah Jessica Parker
$18 million
Parker hit the film jackpot with this year's film version of Sex and the City, which shocked Hollywood's male establishment by earning $415 million worldwide. Expect to see her paycheck jump if a planned sequel goes into production.
Meryl Streep
$16 million
The Oscar-winning actress is proving that there is an audience for movies starring women over 50. Her turn as a sadistic fashion magazine editor helped earn The Devil Wears Prada $326 million worldwide, and her joyous turn in Mamma Mia pushed the film to a $570 million gross.
Amy Adams
$14.6 million
Adams is a hot commodity after her turn as a displaced princess in last year's Enchanted. She's starring with Meryl Streep in two upcoming films: Oscar-bait Doubt and next year's Julie & Julia.
Angelina Jolie
$14 million
Jolie seems to spend more time in the tabloids then on the big screen lately, but she's still a box-office draw. Her latest action pic, Wanted, earned $342 million worldwide and she may be up for her second Oscar nomination with her role as a desperate mother in this year's Changeling.

Hollywood's Top-Paid Tweens
No. 1 (Tie): Miley Cyrus
$25 Million
Cyrus' 70-date Best of Both Worlds concert tour sold out faster than you could say "Hannah Montana," leaving legions of screaming girls scrambling for tickets. In the past year, the 15-year-old also sold millions of CDs, signed a book deal and began filming a movie based on her Disney Channel series. She'll soon lend her voice to an animated canine comedy, Bolt.
No. 1 (Tie): Daniel Radcliffe
$25 Million
Last summer the British-born boy wizard, 19, signed a jaw-dropping contract worth an estimated $50 million to continue his leading role in the last two parts of the Harry Potter series. The final story, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, has since been split into two movies, which should mean even more cash for him. Radcliffe also played the title role in BBC's TV movie My Boy Jack, a World War I story about Rudyard Kipling's ill-fated son, and he'll be baring all on Broadway in Equus
No. 3: Mary-Kate And Ashley Olsen
$15 Million

In the past year, these tween rockers, ages 15 to 20, pulled in $9 million from touring, plus another $3 million from CD sales, merchandise and television deals. In the works: a movie, a reality series and a TV drama.
No. 5: Zac Efron
$5.8 Million
The High School Musical star and tween heartthrob, 20, had success last summer in Hairspray. Three upcoming movies: Seventeen Again (a comedy), Me and Orson Welles (an indie) and this fall's highly anticipated High School Musical 3.
No. 6: Ashley Tisdale
$5.5 Million
Tisdale, 23, heads to the big screen as Vanessa Hudgens' foil in High School Musical 3. She also does voice work for the Disney Channel's animated Phineas and Ferb and endorses Red by Marc Ecko.
No. 7: Emma Watson
$5.5 Million
The English sweetheart, 18, will once again play girl wizard Hermione Granger, in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Her estimated paycheck: $5 million. Last year, she starred in Ballet Shoes, a BBC TV movie.
No. 8: Hilary Duff
$5 Million
Before Miley Cyrus, Disney phenom Hilary Duff owned the tween market. Now the former Lizzie McGuire star, 20, is striving for a more mature audience with roles in indie flicks Greta, Safety Class and War, Inc.
No. 9: Rupert Grint
$5 Million
The red-headed Brit, 19, is making an estimated $5 million playing Ronald Weasley in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. He's spent some of his fortune on his childhood dream: an ice cream truck.
No. 10: Vanessa Anne Hudgens
$3.2 Million
Surviving the buzz from some indiscreet Web pictures, Hudgens, 18, is back in High School Musical 3. She's released a new album and has become a face for Neutrogena skin products and Marc Ecko sneakers.

Top-Earning Women In Music
Madonna
$72 million
The ever-morphing singer still outsells artists half her age. She tops the Cash Queens list thanks largely to her record-breaking Confessions tour, plus income from album sales, an apparel line with retailer H&M and a deal with NBC to air concert footage.
Barbra Streisand
$60 million
The 65-year-old legend, with 145 million albums sold worldwide to her credit, drew legions of die-hard fans to her short (and rare) concert series that wrapped in Europe last summer. Some tickets sold for upward of $1,000 apiece.
Celine Dion
$45 million
The Canadian diva's landmark Las Vegas concert drew some 3 million fans and grossed upward of $450 million during its five-year run, which ended in December

The former Destiny's Child front woman is an endorsement darling, boasting deals with blue-chip brands like American Express, L'Oreal and Samsung.
Gwen Stefani

Christina Aguilera
$20 million
Critics adored the retro stylings of Back to Basics, her third studio album, which also proved popular with fans. Aguilera also inked deals with Pepsi and Orange, a European cellphone operator. In January, the 27-year-old welcomed her first child, Max
Faith Hill
$19 million
Country's beauty-queen crooner joined husband Tim McGraw on the road for the Soul2Soul II tour, one of the year's fastest-selling, top-grossing American concert series, beating out even the U.S. leg of Madonna's Confessions tour. Hill also belts out NBC's Sunday Night Football theme song.
Dixie Chicks
$18 million
Despite vehement criticism from country fans of their anti-war, anti-Bush politics, the Dixie Chicks proved their resilience with their seventh studio album, the Grammy-winning Taking the Long Way Home. Though it immediately topped country and pop charts, the tour to promote the album was hit-or-miss. The Chicks canceled dates in Texas and Oklahoma following refusals from several radio stations to advertise the event.

The Year's 10 Most Valuable Celebrity Faces
No. 1: Angelina Jolie
Be it her humanitarian efforts or her ever-expanding brood, Jolie has little trouble garnering interest--and, for that matter, landing covers. In fact, she graced nearly 30 in the past year, ranking second behind Britney Spears in the cover category. She also places second in cover sales, this time behind another Spears: Britney's teenage sister, new mother Jamie Lynn.
No. 2: Jennifer Aniston
Aniston has once again proved highly appealing, this time landing second on our list (she topped it last year). In fact, with the exception of Heath Ledger, whose life was cut tragically short earlier this year, Aniston is the most-liked cover model of the year. And thanks to her ever-tumultuous love life, the former Friends star had eight covers all to herself during the year period.
No. 3: Heath Ledger
It was Ledger's mysterious and all-too-early death that made him front-cover news--something he hadn't been prior to his passing. And while male cover subjects traditionally sell fewer copies than female ones, due to their lack of relatability for the heavily female reader base (other cover subjects Brad Pitt and Matthew McConaughey didn't make the cut), the idea of a talent like Ledger dying so young left readers grasping for answers--and buying magazines in search of them.
No. 4: Jamie Lynn Spears
Though she was hardly a tabloid staple before announcing her pregnancy, a then 16-year-old Spears captivated the nation with her news. Her five covers landed her first in the cover sales category. Unfortunately, the Nickelodeon star lagged in the likability category, where she placed an unimpressive 16th.No. 4: Jamie Lynn Spears
No. 5: Nicole Richie
The pint-sized party-girl-turned-protective-mom has proved her prowess at the newsstand. Richie lands third in the cover sales category, behind Jamie Lynn Spears and Angelina Jolie. But much like the younger Spears sister, her low likability score drags her down.
No. 6: Jessica Simpson
While she's hardly the fan favorite Jennifer Aniston is--in fact, the pop-star-turned-country-crooner ranks 14th in the likability category--Simpson ranked fourth in cover sales, thanks to the her tumultuous relationship with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.
No. 7: Suri Cruise
The adorable tot may not have much to say, but she's a master at selling magazines. At just 2-and-a-half years old, Cruise has snagged adoring fans and interested readers. In fact, she outperforms even her parents, A-listers Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, on the newsstand.
No. 8: Shiloh Jolie Pitt
Though Shiloh has her kiddie rival Suri beat when it comes to likability, Brangelina's biological offspring was outranked in both her number of covers and cover sales.
No. 9: Heidi Montag
The Hills vixen may be lacking fans--the only cover subject less likable than Montag is Britney Spears--but she can push magazines. Her four solo covers landed her at No. 6 in the cover sales category.
No. 10: Owen Wilson
Like Ledger, Wilson covers--focused on his reported suicide attempt--benefited from their tragic news angle. Similarly working in his favor: fan adoration. The comedic actor placed third in likability.

Break Out Stars of 2008
No. 1 Jonas Brothers
Last year, the Jonas Brothers--Nick, Joe and Kevin--were merely an opening act for Disney sensation Miley Cyrus. Fast forward a year and now they are the Disney sensation. Over the course of the year, they scored starring roles in the Disney Channel flick Camp Rock, released a chart-topping album A Little Bit Longer and hit the road for a sold-out concert tour. Next up, a 3-D concert movie, a Disney Channel series and many more swooning girls.
No. 2 David Cook & David Archuleta
Though Cook took the crown, American Idol's seventh season singers--also known as the David's--both scored big audiences and loyal followings. In the months since, the stars have each spent much time on the Billboard charts, traveled the country on the always-popular Idol concert tour and recently dropped hotly anticipated albums.
No. 3 Jon Hamm
He's wowed audiences as enigmatic ad whiz Don Draper on AMC's Emmy-winning series Man Men. In addition to a host of awards, he's graced a slew of magazine covers and drew accolades for his Saturday Night Live hosting gig in October. He's serving as a face of Gap this holiday season and will star opposite Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connolly in The Day the Earth Stood Still.
No. 4 Rachel Maddow
The AIDS activist-turned-Air America radio host-turned-MSNBC star offers a refreshing female voice in the midst of male punditry. Since her nightly show premiered on Sept. 8, she has more than doubled the ratings of her network predecessor, Dan Abrams, with nearly 2 million viewers tuning in on a nightly basis. Still more impressive: She often beats CNN's Larry King in the advertiser-beloved 25- to 54-year-old demo. Despite her demanding television schedule, Maddow has maintained her Air America radio program as well.
No. 5 Robert Pattinson
Once little known for his supporting role as Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter series, Pattinson is now drawing big crowds--and drooling ladies--of his own. In recent weeks, he's graced a slew of magazine covers and scored dozens of interviews for his starring role as Edward Cullen, the vampire in the silver screen's heavily hyped Twilight adaptation. Still more proof of his fan interest: The flick's opening weekend delivered a jaw-dropping $70 million at the U.S. box office.
No. 6 Demi Lovato
Move over Miley Cyrus, Disney's Next Big Thing is named Demi Lovato. The petite teen burst onto the scene with a starring role opposite Joe Jonas in The Disney Channel's much-watched flick Camp Rock. She then went on tour with the Jonas Brothers and released her debut album. Next, the singer-actress has a Disney Channel movie (Princess Protection Program) and a TV show (Sonny with a Chance) in the works.
No. 7 Selena Gomez
Like her best pal Lovato, this Disney 'tween has scored starring roles and legions of fans this past year Among the former: She plays Alex Russo, the mischievous middle child in the Disney Channel's popular Wizards of Waverly Place and lent her voice to the big screen's Horton Hears a Who. Next, she'll star opposite Lovato in the Disney Channel flick Princess Protection Program. The Texas-born 16-year-old has also launched her own production company and is set to release her debut album in 2009
No. 8 Shenae Grimes
The former Degrassi: The Next Generation actress landed the lead in the CW's popular freshman series--and 1990's remake--90210. In addition to her regular on-air drama, the petite Canadian actress has found herself at the center of much tabloid coverage. Among them: The 19-year-old beauty and her series cast mates have been slammed for their thin frames and accused of having eating disorders, a claim she has publicly denied.
No. 9 Katy Perry
The Santa Barbara, Calif., native got the world's attention this year with her controversial--and very catchy--bi-curious hit single, "I Kissed a Girl." The daughter of pastor parents, Perry has spent recent months crisscrossing the globe performing and promoting her music. Her second single, "Hot N Cold," has enjoyed similar success at the top of the Billboard charts.
No. 10 Whitney Port
Once Lauren "LC" Conrad's keep-to-herself co-worker, Port has seen her profile soar in recent months. Her enviable fashion career--as well as her dating travails--was well documented in the MTV series' most recent season. Like Conrad, Port launched her own cocktail and party-wear-focused fashion line called Eve & A this year. Next, the Los Angeles native takes New York--and the offices of Diane Von Furstenberg--in her very own MTV spin-off, The City.

Twilight MOvie!
I love the movie! I mean, it's not totally like the book and everything is very compressed which is normal. But all over it's brilliant! It's not like Harry Potter that you have to have read the book to understand everything. I mean it's totally cool and everyone liked it! Theaters are very full! And it's totally cool. Aside from the fact that Angela got hooked with Eric and not Ben. And during the Prom, why is it that the other Cullens where not there? They're suppose to be there right?Dancing and twirling and everything. But it has to be edited, really, really edited and all that.
And Jacob Black is everywhere. But he has little exposure and sutff.
But anyway, Robert is sooooooooo cute in the movie, which is great and all that. I love the movie in general and my friends loved it too even though they haven't read the movie. It's pretty much understandable according to them.
Speechless. The movie is superbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb!!!! loved everything about it! Super! I have been waiting for it for so long and it was great!. I've watched the movie for like 8 times with different people. haha Fanatic. Obviously. Plus I've made like a lot of posts and count downs for the movie.. yada yada yada.

Holiday Dating Tips
from Dr. Helen Fisher
The holidays are full of opportunities for romance, but at the same time can be rife with romantic pitfalls as well. Here's how to make your holiday dates successful…
To help make your holiday dating a success, Chemistry.com's scientific advisor Dr. Helen Fisher offers the following tips:
1. Family and romance don't always mix. Be careful about including him or her in family holiday activities.
2. Curb your generosity when buying your date presents or she/he may think you are more serious than you really are.
3. Do something “different” with your date like a carriage ride, skating, sledding or driving around to see outdoor Christmas lights. Unique activities drive up dopamine in the brain and can stimulate romance.
4. Holding hands with your date can affect oxytocin levels in the brain and increase feelings of trust and attachment.
5. At holiday parties, introduce your date to your friends, explain who people are, how you know them, and then continually include your date in your conversations.
6. There is a fine line between bragging and telling your date about yourself.
7. If you are drinking alcohol, be aware of how much you are drinking during your date.
8. Don't listen to everything your friends and family say about your date. You're dating this person, not them.
9. Be on time or call your date and let them know you are running late.
10. If you have the holiday blues, try not to let it affect your date or consider waiting to date until after the holidays.

World's oldest marijuana stash totally busted
Two pounds of still-green weed found in a 2,700-year-old Gobi Desert grave
Stash for the afterlife: A photograph of a stash of cannabis found in the 2,700-year-old grave of a man in the Gobi Desert. Scientists are unsure if the marijuana was grown for more spiritual or medical purposes, but it's evident that the man was buried with a lot of it.
Nearly two pounds of still-green plant material found in a 2,700-year-old grave in the Gobi Desert has just been identified as the world's oldest marijuana stash, according to a paper in the latest issue of the Journal of Experimental Botany.
A barrage of tests proves the marijuana possessed potent psychoactive properties and casts doubt on the theory that the ancients only grew the plant for hemp in order to make clothing, rope and other objects.
They apparently were getting high too.
Lead author Ethan Russo told Discovery News that the marijuana "is quite similar" to what's grown today.
"We know from both the chemical analysis and genetics that it could produce THC (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid synthase, the main psychoactive chemical in the plant)," he explained, adding that no one could feel its effects today, due to decomposition over the millennia.
Russo served as a visiting professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Botany while conducting the study. He and his international team analyzed the cannabis, which was excavated at the Yanghai Tombs near Turpan, China. It was found lightly pounded in a wooden bowl in a leather basket near the head of a blue-eyed Caucasian man who died when he was about 45.
"This individual was buried with an unusual number of high value, rare items," Russo said, mentioning that the objects included a make-up bag, bridles, pots, archery equipment and a kongou harp. The researchers believe the individual was a shaman from the Gushi people, who spoke a now-extinct language called Tocharian that was similar to Celtic.
Scientists originally thought the plant material in the grave was coriander, but microscopic botanical analysis of the bowl contents, along with genetic testing, revealed that it was cannabis.
The size of seeds mixed in with the leaves, along with their color and other characteristics, indicate the marijuana came from a cultivated strain. Before the burial, someone had carefully picked out all of the male plant parts, which are less psychoactive, so Russo and his team believe there is little doubt as to why the cannabis was grown.
What is in question, however, is how the marijuana was administered, since no pipes or other objects associated with smoking were found in the grave.
"Perhaps it was ingested orally," Russo said. "It might also have been fumigated, as the Scythian tribes to the north did subsequently."
Although other cultures in the area used hemp to make various goods as early as 7,000 years ago, additional tomb finds indicate the Gushi fabricated their clothing from wool and made their rope out of reed fibers. The scientists are unsure if the marijuana was grown for more spiritual or medical purposes, but it's evident that the blue-eyed man was buried with a lot of it.

Love Remains The Same - GAVIN ROSSDALE
Gravity like a lunar landing
Make me want to run till I find you
I shut the world away from here
Drift to you, you're all I hear
Everything we know fades to black
Half the time the world is ending
Truth is I am done pretending
I never thought that I had anymore to give
Pushing me so far
Here I am without you
Drink to all that we have lost
Mistakes we have made
Everything will change
But love remains the same
Find the place where we escape
Take you with me for a space
The city buzz, sounds just like a fridge
I walk the streets through seven bars
I had to find just where you are
The faces seems to blur, they're all the same
Half the time the world is ending
Truth is I am done pretending
I never thought that I had anymore to give
Pushing me so far
Here I am without you
Drink to all that we have lost
Mistakes we have made
Everything will change
But love remains the same
So much more to say
So much to be done
Don't you trick me out
We shall overcome
So all have stayed in place
We should have had the sun
Could have been inside
Instead we're over here
Half the time the world is ending
Truth is I am done pretending
Too much time, too long defending
You and I are done pretending
I never thought that I had anymore to give
Pushing me so far
Here I am without you
Drink to all that we have lost
Mistakes we have made
Everything will change
Everything will change
I, oh I, I
wish this could last forever
I, oh I, I
As if we could last forever
Love remains the same
Love remains the same

Hollywood's Wage...
1. Jennifer Aniston vs. Angelina Jolie
Aniston: $27 million
Jolie: $14 million
Jolie may have gotten the guy (Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt, that is), but Aniston has the fatter wallet. The former Friends star banked $27 million between June 2007 and June 2008, thanks to a slew of upcoming films, including Marley & Me and He's Just Not That Into You. She also earns big money on Friends syndication and a Smartwater endorsement deal.
2. Miley Cyrus vs. Jonas Brothers
Cyrus: $25 million
Jonas Bros.: $12 million
The Jonas Brothers may be the next big thing, but the Hannah Montana dynamo still has them beat at the bank. In addition to Cyrus' 70-date Best of Both Worlds concert tour, which raked in some $50 million, the 15-year-old sensation has a book deal, a TV series and several movies in the works.
3. Ben Stiller vs. Will Ferrell vs. Adam Sandler
Stiller: $40 million
Ferrell: $31 million
Sandler: $30 million
Tinseltown's funnymen may be equally funny, but they're not equally rich. Stiller proves the best paid this year, pulling $40 million over the 12-month period--an impressive sum given his year at the box office. His flick The Heartbreak Kid was one of the worst-performing movies of his career, garnering a paltry $37 million in domestic theaters. Of course, the big budget flop didn't prevent lofty salaries for this summer's Tropic Thunder and the upcoming Night at the Museum 2.
4. Ashley Tisdale vs. Vanessa Anne Hudgens
Tisdale: $5.5 million
Hudgens: $3.2 million
While screech-worthy stars each, the ladies of High School Musical have added new and different entries to their resume. Tisdale's include a Disney Channel series, a straight-to-DVD movie and some endorsement work. Hudgen's: an album, a flick and some endorsements as well. In the last year, the former has proved more lucrative than the latter.
5. Jerry Bruckheimer vs. Steven Spielberg vs. George Lucas
Bruckheimer: $145 million
Spielberg: $130 million
Lucas: $50 million
Move over Spielberg, Bruckheimer takes top honor as Hollywood's top-earning producer. He raked in $145 million, thanks in large part to Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, the top-grossing movie of 2007. The much-hyped flick plundered $961 million at the worldwide box office. Similarly successful, not to mention highly lucrative: National Treasure: Book of Secrets, which banked $457 million in theaters. His small-screen fare--the CSI franchise as well as Cold Case and Without a Trace--adds an estimated $70 million to his coffers.
6. Howie Mandel vs. Drew Carey vs. Jeff Foxworthy
Mandel: $14 million
Foxworthy: $13 million
Carey: $12 million
Deal or No Deal has proved a great deal for its host Mandel, who out-earns his fellow hosts by only a small margin. Thanks to the addictive show, the germophobic and now best-paid game show host banked $14 million over the course of the year. Also fattening his wallet: endorsement deals and stand-up gigs.
7. Tyra Banks vs. Heidi Klum
Banks: $23 million
Klum: $14 million
When it comes to supermodels turned super-personalities, Banks and Klum seem to have a lock on the market. But while both continue to score shows and deals, Banks is the bigger earner. Among her projects: two hit shows--America's Next Top Model and The Tyra Banks Show--and larger production deal.
8. David Letterman vs. Jay Leno
Letterman: $45 million
Leno: $32 million
NBC's Leno may earn higher ratings than CBS' Letterman, but he comes up short in cash. Turns out it pays to be your own boss: Unlike the NBC host, Letterman owns a stake in his late-night show. That played to his advantage last December, when his production company hammered out a deal with its striking Writers Guild members to get them back to work ahead of others.
9. Sean (Diddy) Combs vs. Shawn (Jay-Z) Carter
Carter: $82 million
Combs: $35 million
While hardly the rivalry rap has long been famous for, Jay-Z has Diddy beat in this money match-up. And with good reason, given the year the Brooklyn, N.Y.-born hip hop demigod has had. Between June 2007 and June 2008, he released a platinum album, signed a 10-year, $150 million deal with concert promoter Live Nation and tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Beyoncé Knowles.
10. Ryan Seacrest vs. Simon Cowell
Cowell: $72 million
Seacrest: $31 million
American Idol's leading men have had little trouble banking big money. But while Seacrest is constantly cutting deals, Cowell remains the earnings champ. The cranky judge on America's most-watched TV show pulled down $45 million from Idol, $15 million from Britain's Got Talent and The X Factor (he owns both and appears as a judge on each) and $12 million of profit from his record label.

Hollywood's Moguls In The Making
1. Curtis (50 cent) Jackson
Earnings: $150 million
Curtis Jackson, aka 50 Cent, earned the rank of highest earner thanks to some very savvy investing. Jackson's stake in VitaminWater earned him nine figures when Coca-Cola bought the brand in 2007. The G-Unit line of clothing and the G-Unit record label that he started with his manager Sha Money XL in 2003 also bolsters his bottom line. A signature scent is reportedly in the works.
2. Beyoncé
Earnings: $80 million
Beyoncé has one of the most valuable personal brands today. As a performer, she garnered $50 million in ticket sales in 2007 and sold over 3 million copies of B'Day. As an actress, she was in the holiday sensation Dreamgirls, which earned $154 million worldwide. As a designer, her label House of Deréon had wholesale sales over $10 million last year
3. Justin Timberlake
Earnings: $44 million
Timberlake went from Mickey Mouse Club kiddie crooner to fuzzy-haired boy band babe to an adult powerhouse. Timberlake's FutureSex/LoveShow tour grossed $127 million in 2007 and reached millions of living rooms with an HBO special. Non-musical ventures include the William Rast clothing line, the BBQ restaurant Southern Hospitality in New York City and record label Tennman Records.
4. Kanye West
Earnings: $30 million
This controversial and award-winning rapper knows more than just music. Kanye West is reportedly working on a pilot for a Larry Charles television series, has plans to release his own clothing line Pastelle and runs his own music label, G.O.O.D. Music, which includes John Legend and Common on its roster. As well, his KW Foods owns the Chicago rights to the Fatburger chain of restaurants with plans to open 10 locations.
5. Tyra Banks
Earnings: $23 million
Tyra Banks is a model turned talk show host, reality television star and actress. Now in its 11th cycle, Banks' America's Next Top Model and The Tyra Banks Show has kept the host earning in the spotlight. She still models, though, as she appeared in Harper's Bazaar earlier this year in a Michelle Obama spread.
6. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen
Earnings: $15 million
The original tween queens, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen were the first young stars to tap into the retail power of young girls with their licensed line in Wal-Mart that ended earlier this year after nine years on the shelves. The actresses have now parlayed their fame and talents into creating adult fashion lines--and celebutante favorites--The Row and Elizabeth and James. Their coffee table book Influence will hit shelves on Oct. 28.
7. Avril Lavigne
Earnings: $13 million
Avril Lavigne, the Canadian punk songster, has expanded her range to include acting and fashion designing. She appeared in 2006's Fast Food Nation and will appear on-screen again in this fall's The Flock alongside Richard Gere and Claire Danes. Abbey Dawn, her clothing line for Kohl's department stores, debuted in July
9. Pete Wentz
Earnings: $8 million
The husband of Ashlee Simpson and father-to-be is known as much for his role in Fall Out Boy as he is for his business acumen. Wentz leads the Decaydance record label, has a stake in the New York City nightclub Angels & Kings and shills his Clandestine Industries clothing line in Nordstrom stores. The next Fall Out Boy album is scheduled for release this November.
9. Jessica Simpson
Earnings: $6 million
Despite some less-than-stellar career moves and high-profile romances, Jessica Simpson's bottom line has remained high thanks to a steady film career and a successful line of accessories, which grosses about $300 million a year. She released Do You Know, her first attempt at a country album, last September.
10. Hilary Duff
Earnings: $5 million
Hilary Duff entered the radar as the title role in Disney's successful series Lizzie McGuire. Since then, she has released three studio albums, appeared in many major films and debuted a fashion and home line Stuff by Hilary Duff and the Elizabeth Arden fragrance With Love...Hilary Duff, which matched the leading single off of Duff's 2007 album Dignity.

Lindsay Lohan's strong love
Lindsay Lohan has insisted she and girlfriend Samantha Ronson are not splitting up in a new blog.
Lindsay Lohan insists she and girlfriend Samantha Ronson are not splitting up.
The 'Mean Girls' star, who has been dating the DJ for several months, has posted a new blog denying all rumours of a rift in their romance.
She said: 'Oy vey! Rumours. Just to clear this up, because I have been getting a lot of emails asking me this one question. Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan (me) are NOT breaking up. Take care xxLL'
Lindsay also revealed to her fans she can't stop listening to the song 'Happy Together' by The Turtles.
Lindsay and Samantha were reported to have had a physical fight during a recent night out at London's Boujis nightclub.
Samantha is believed to have lost her temper when she saw Lindsay flirting with her ex-boyfriend, model Calum Best, and angrily confronted the pair.
A source said: 'They caused quite a commotion - everyone was staring. Then it erupted into a catfight, with Sam and Lindsay swearing and screaming like banshees.
'Calum looked mortified then things got nasty and he stepped in to separate them.'

Jennifer Hudson's in-law arrest
Jennifer Hudson's estranged brother-in-law has been arrested for the murders of the actress' mother, brother and nephew.
William Balfour - who was taken into custody yesterday (01.12.08) at Illinois' Stateville Correctional Center - had previously only been named as a 'person of interest' following the shootings of Darnell Donerson, Jason Hudson and seven-year-old Julian King in October.
Tandra Simonton, a spokesperson for the Cook County State Attorney's Office, confirmed the arrest warrant but revealed Balfour has not yet been formally charged with the crimes.
Balfour's attorney Joshua Kutnick says the accused 'vehemently denies he is guilty in this case', adding: 'Any evidence pointing to Mr. Balfour is not even thin. It is very, very weak.'
Balfour, the estranged husband of Jennifer's sister Julia, was taken into custody on the same day as the bodies of Darnell and Jason were discovered.
After being held for 48 hours, the longest that a person can be held without being charged, Balfour was transferred to the Illinois Department of Corrections on charges of a suspected parole violation.
He has previously served seven years in jail in 1999 after being convicted of attempted murder and vehicular hijacking.
Oscar-winning actress Jennifer is in hiding following the tragedy, and is being guarded round the clock because she fears for her safety.

Christina Aguilera..
Christina talks new album, new influences, and new role as Supergirl
By Jonathan Zwickel
Special to MSN Music
She may have just released a greatest hits album, but Christina Aguilera isn't spending much time looking back.
"Keeps Gettin' Better: A Decade of Hits" is packed with all the blockbusters that won the 27-year-old singer five Grammys and that helped sell more than 42 million albums worldwide. Alongside the hits are two reworked versions of fan favorites and two brand new songs, one of which is the title track. "Keeps Gettin' Better" and "Dynamite" both bubble with crisp electro-pop production, a striking update on the dusky neo-soul of "Back to Basics." The "Genie 2.0" and "You Are What You Are (Beautiful)" revamps are even more progressive, the latter a surprisingly subtle foray into down-tempo electronica. These four tracks, the shape-shifting pop princess says, hint at the next phase of a spectacularly mercurial career.
"It's going in a much more futuristic direction," Aguilera says by phone from Los Angeles. "This is someplace I really haven't tapped into yet."
"A Decade of Hits" caps a year that saw her give birth to her first child, Max, and take an active role in the most successful Rock the Vote campaign to date. She's currently working on her next album of original material, set for summer '09 release.
"Growing into being a woman, a mother -- it's a very different time in my life, and also where I'm at musically," Aguilera says.
According to Aguilera, pop art is her primary inspiration at the moment. She and husband Jordan Bratman have been collecting work by über-edgy graffiti provocateurs Banksy and D*Face, and the electric blue tresses she flaunts in the video for "Keeps Gettin' Better" are a nod to vintage pop artists like Warhol and Lichtenstein.
"I took visual references from that time period because it was so full of life and vividness and bright, bold colors," she says.
Several unusual musical guests are set to appear on the as-yet-untitled album. After name-checking electroclash innovators Goldfrapp and Ladytron, Aguilera says Sia (known for her work with Zero 7, as well as the song "Breathe Me" from the dramatic final sequence of the acclaimed HBO series "Six Feet Under") will contribute.
"I think her voice has a cool sound to it, really gritty and unique," Aguilera says of Sia.
"There's really no holds barred for anything," she says. "The future could go anywhere, so it really isn't so specific to a certain genre or style, so I can really take that anywhere I wanna go."
At the moment, the song "Keeps Gettin' Better" is at the forefront of Aguilera's very visible partnership with Target, the album's exclusive physical retailer. Its chorus hinges on a contrast that's very relevant to her life right now, though it's partially bleeped over by sound effects in the accompanying big-budget TV commercial.
"After having my own child, it's pretty amazing what females are capable of," Aguilera explains. "We're Supergirl, we do it all: we give the love, we give the milk. On the other hand, I'm running a business. I'm running my career. That comes with being labeled a bitch. If that's what I'm gonna be called by being assertive and knowing who I am and what I want out of life, then so be it. I will wear that label proudly. For me it's about turning that word into a positive."

'CSI' Star Splits From SAG President Husband
Zap2It.com
With the possibility of a Screen Actors Guild strike, it's not the best time for Alan Rosenberg's marriage to go south.
The SAG president and his wife, "CSI" star Marg Helgenberger, have separated after being married for nearly two decades, reports People.
"After 19 years of marriage, Marg and Alan have decided to take some time apart," the actress' rep said Monday. "They love and respect each other and remain committed to their family."
Helgenberger, 50, met Rosenberg, 57, in 1984 on the set of her soap "Ryan's Hope" and struck up a friendship. Four years later, after his divorce with actress Robin Bartlett, he reconnected with Helgenberger again in a line for a West Hollywood bank.
They eloped in 1989 and have an 18-year-old son together, Hugh.
Rosenberg has appeared on "L.A. Law," "Cybill," "Chicago Hope" and on two episodes of his estranged wife's series "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," in which she plays Catherine Willows. She won an Emmy in 1990 for her supporting role K.C. Kolowski on "China Beach."

Chris Brown a big hit with on-demand viewers
NEW YORK (AP) -- Chris Brown is in demand with on-demand viewers.
The TV on-demand service Music Choice said Monday the soul singer was its most requested artist in a one-year period ending in September. Fans ordered free plays of Brown's videos or interviews 43 million times.
Music Choice honored Brown on its first "Most Demanded" awards show that was available — logically enough — on-demand starting Monday.
Network executive Damon Williams said teenage girls were primarily responsible for Brown's win. He said fans would invite friends over to watch or show off the video on their cell phones.
The Jonas Brothers and Lil Wayne were big draws, too. Wayne's "Lollipop" video was seen 12 million times.
Despite being available in less than one-third of the nation's TV homes, Music Choice says it is behind only YouTube as a popular place for people to seek out music videos on demand.
Music Choice, perhaps better known for its suite of channels that play different genres of music, sees growth opportunity with its on-demand features, Williams said. Surveys show fewer than 10 percent of the people who have the capability of getting on-demand video actually use the service, he said.
The company just started offering music videos on-demand 2 1/2 years ago.

Will debit cards outstrip credit?
People still pull out the plastic, but often they're not charging anything. That leaves banks scrambling to make up the revenue they've lost from their more-profitable credit cards.
advertisement
Raquel Garcia is serious about avoiding debt. The 18-year-old customer-service representative for U-Haul recently canceled her credit card. Now she gets her entire paycheck deposited onto a prepaid debit card, which she uses for all her purchases.
Because she can access only what's in the account, Garcia no longer worries about breaking her budget. "I'm spending just what I need," she says.
For consumers reeling from a series of economic body blows, debit cards are increasingly becoming the plastic of choice.
Some use the cards, which pull money directly from a bank or other account, as a budgeting tool to limit spending. Others embrace them out of necessity as banks clamp down on credit.
All told, debit purchases are expected to climb 13% in 2008, to $1.2 trillion, according to The Nilson Report, an industry newsletter -- compared with a 3% rise, to $1.9 trillion, for credit card transactions. At Visa, the No. 1 card company, debit spending could surpass credit this year.
* Build credit without a credit card
For the banks issuing the debit cards, the trend seems bittersweet. On the plus side, debit cards don't pose a threat to the banks' books like credit card accounts do (credit card losses are mounting as borrowers fall behind on payments). But the profits on debit cards aren't as plump because banks don't collect interest on them.
Issuers largely make money from debit card fees, which pale next to those on credit cards. Retailers, for instance, fork over 1.6% of credit purchases to banks, three times the amount on debit transactions.

Amy Winehouse's hubby: 'I ruined something beautiful'
Amy Winehouse's estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil has apparently reached the point in his long climb up the 12 steps where he's making a list of the people he's harmed. At the top of that fearless moral inventory: His self-admitted mess of a missus, whom he says he turned into a drug-ravaged disaster zone.
"I dragged Amy into it and without me there is no doubt that she would never have gone down that road. I ruined something beautiful," the currently rehabbing jailbird tearfully but indiscreetly tells Britain's News of the World (listen to audio of the interview here). "Now I have to let her go to save her life. I am not abandoning her. I am doing this out of love."
No official steps have reportedly been taken to end their 18-month marriage, although Winehouse, 25, who remains hospitalized for a reaction to "medication" and has not seen her husband since he was released from his nearly yearlong stint in the pokey earlier this month, was quoted as saying last week, "It's over."
Blake, showing off his firm grasp of the obvious, breaks down why he believes he's to blame for Amy's substance abuse and her self-harming issues.
©AP
Blake Fielder-Civil arrives at the High Court in London on Nov. 24. (©AP)
"Crack is the nastiest drug. It makes you paranoid, unreasonable, edgy and totally suspicious of everyone," he explains to the tabloid. "And you can get hooked on it straight away. But I was weak and an addict and I let Amy take some. I didn't stop it from happening. For that I take full responsibility. It became something we did as well as heroin. And then our lives fell apart."
Fielder-Civil says he dealt with their depressingly dysfunctional circumstances by slicing his arms, which prompted Winehouse to follow his bloodstained lead.
"Amy got really upset about seeing me bleeding. And because she's loyal and [bleeped] up over our love -- like Romeo and Juliet -- she cut her arms too," he recalls. "I had to get her stitched up."
Blake claims his guilt and concern are behind his decision to leave.
"Now the most dignified thing I can ever do in my life is to release somebody I love from my [bleeping] grasp, from my clutches," he insists. "When I see pictures of Amy and the state she's in, it tears my heart out. I just want to pick her up and help her."
But, he sighs, "I can't -- because I'm the man who caused it all. It scares me to death that I can't fix Amy. But for her recovery, I have to leave her alone. I will never stop wanting Amy and loving her and craving her. More than anything I am addicted to Amy. I will do anything for her -- and that includes walking away."
Blake then adds dramatically, "If something bad happened to Amy now I would kill myself without a question."
And despite his limited career prospects (he previously worked as a music video assistant), he nixes rumors that he's seeking to exit the union with a chunk of Amy's fortune.
"I'm not interested in her money. I always offered to do a prenuptial agreement before we got married," states Fielder-Civil. "And if Amy wants a divorce I'm not going to fight her for anything. It's going to be the saddest day of my life. But it doesn't matter if I turn up in the divorce court homeless and with no shoes on, I'm not taking a single penny off her."
He claims he's now living drug-free, a clear-minded state that has only increased his guilt.
"I don't deserve to be the one in rehab. Amy does. Amy deserves to be in here, getting clean, getting ready for a fresh start in life," he says (his moneybags spouse is said to be footing the bill for his treatment), before noting that they need to keep their distance. "I accept that there is every horrible, horrible chance that I could be tempted to take drugs again if I went back to Amy. I'm distraught and can't stop crying. I can't believe that because of drugs I'm going to lose my soul mate."
Fielder-Civil says his dream is one day to settle into domestic bliss with Amy in a "nice house with our two kids," but "because of drugs, we can't have a normal life together," he concedes. "That's why I have to let her go."
